Jiffy Lube, Portland OR

My two teenage daughters went together to take their shared car in for service. They were definitely taken advantage of, being told to replace many items and "a small light" that was out. When directly asked what they were referring to, they were told that it was very hard to see. Came back home with a bill twice as much as it should have been for a typical, standard oil change. Grow up Jiffy Lube and stop predatory business practices.

Had a great experience. They got me in and out in record time and didn’t push me to purchase extra add ons, like so many other oil change places.

This team was so great. I got right into a bay and they were so helpful with the many maintenance questions I asked about. I'd highly recommend them.

I recently had a negative experience at this Jiffy Lube located at 1440 SE 39th Ave Portland Oregon at 530pm. Yesterday I paid for an oil change, I chose to sit in the drivers seat of my vehicle while the mechanics changed my oil, I was conversing with a friend who I had placed on speaker phone. The Jiffy Lube employee then knocked on my car window and stated that "my car is need of brand new tires". So I (then) asked the employee "how much money it would cost to have him replace all four of my tire sensors"? The employee quoted a price of $25.00 dollars per sensor (offering to do all four sensor's for a total sum of $100.00). The employee then handed me a piece of paper quoting a price of $702.20 to replace all 4 of my tires. I asked him if they could replace all four sensors at this moment (hoping do the tires later). I was completely shocked by the price of his quote jumping from $25.00 per sensor to $90.00 per tire senor's (changing the price to $360.00 to replace all four tire sensors). I then asked him why the price changed so drastically in less then sixty seconds? ! The guy then got tongue tied stating "it was because he's a brand new employee". My friend who was on speaker heard all of this and was disgusted by the seedy price change. I'm not returning to this store for any reason.

Chris helped me out with great customer service. Checked my oil, topped me off and got me out quickly, free of charge!

I brought in 3 cars on Monday and Tuesday mornings. The wait was not long. Several people worked on the car at the same time. They performed DEQ test and oil changes on each car. Seemed to be reasonable price.

People will always look at you like you're crazy when you say "I got my brakes done at jiffy lube" but it's quality and swift at really competitive prices.

The place was clean the staff was friendly I got in and out.the staff was very professional Joseph Dewey was amazing highly recommend this place

The staff were so helpful and kind! Also super happy that it only took like 20 minutes start to finish. Definitely recommend!

Over the years, I have increasingly come to rely on Jiffylube for all-around maintenance of my treasured 2003 Maxima, beyond just oil changes. Their prices and quality of work compare well with the local corner mechanic, and they are much more professional, with complete historical service records. Very friendly staff, who do a great job of explaining technical stuff to the mechanically clueless (me)!

I was very surprised at how knowledgeable and kind they were. I am an older woman and the heat was taking its toll on me. Jacob Gumb made sure I got some water while I waited. I have no air conditioning and he was concerned due to the heat. He explained everything to me, as I get very confused at times. I was only there for a short time as they changed my oil in record time. I will be back to see if maybe they can fix my air conditioning. They were very considerate and kind.

Just went in there to get my oil change and as a fellow jiffy luber from 1009 and 1011.i know for sure u have to give the prices and see if thats ok before clearing a vehicle to drain on the bay then when i told him prices werent ok he said that was too bad the vehicle was already done and refused to let me talk to his regional manager after he said it was my fault

Jacob the manager Did a phenomenal job of explaining everything that my car needed done and what steps I should take in replacing them. Very Professional, I would highly recommend coming here. Very friendly staff. Corey and Scott are awesome.

I really appreciate the service and repairs these guys have done for my 1993 Subaru. Recently, Jake helped me triage what needs to be done and even though it would be a lot more repairs for his shop, recommended that I replace it. I’ll be bringing whatever I get next back here.

Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff and an incredibly fast team. Jacob, the manager, is reliable, honest and hard working. They do brakes and full service engine repair at this location! Won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

Worst service EVER! Jacob Gump really needs to be fired for his customer service! After he treated me like shit I called the store looking for HR or the regional managers number the dick head REFUSED to give me the number. Sucks for him I got it anyway. Don't ever go here. They suck and don't care about their customers.

Me and my family love going to Jiffy Lube on 39th and Hawthorne. We actually followed Jacob Gump from his other store to this one due to his professional manner, honest and friendly nature. He has never steered us wrong with our vehicles. You want the best service go see Jacob Gump at Jiffy Lube on 39th and Hawthorne.

Needed a fuel filter on a 92 dodge. I was on a tight schedule. Got the part from their supplier and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Much thanks and praise.
