I would highly suggest going elsewhere. I have seen the aftermath of barrel threading, handgun trigger work and now bolt gun action work from him. He's left firearms inoperable in many instances and his barrel threading shows that he does not have the qualifications necessary to work on anything you care about. Nothing personal against the guy, it just is what it is. It would also be one thing if he was willing to take care of the customer after a mistake but I have not heard the greatest feedback concerning that either.

Seemed ok. His wife was great to work with. I think the owner thinks he's rambo, but just an army guy that wishes he was a marine.

Highly recommend going with a reliable FFL! I used him to get a S&W. 22 shipped to him and when I received my. 22 he threw away the box that it came in and now S&W refused to give me my $100 rebate without the SKU off the box! His response was I had to take it out of the box and I wouldn't of throw away if I knew? Sorry for the inconvenience! So using him cost me $150 for him to process my. 22! That's what I guess you get for going to a business that works out of his garage?

The job got done, trigger kit and sights for a shield 9mm, 2 days longer and 95 dollars more than I was originally quoted. Also upon getting home the same day I noticed he managed to scratch the front sight that was brand new dropped off in the packaging and the slide near the front sight as well.

Can't recommend this shop enough. Jim went above and beyond any expectations I had. He was very responsive via phone and text. Best experience doing a FFL transfer ever!
