Last year I found Dr. Murphy (OBGYN) thanks to referrals from a localFB group and I just want to take a minute to RAVE about my experience. After years of having horrendously heavy and painful periods, Dr. Murphy was the first doctor to truly listen to my concerns and take the time to investigate potential causes. I was diagnosed with Adenemyosis, we weighed options together, and I ended up having a hysterectomy two weeks ago and my life already feels 10x better (yes even while recovering from surgery).

Dr. Murphy is one of the kindest, gentlest doctors I’ve ever met and I cannot recommend him enough. 10/10!

The only thing I appreciated about my experience with Dr. Murphy was the delivery of my baby… he ignored my complaints about eczema that I developed while pregnant with my son. I had injuries on my skin from scratching and not knowing what was going on. I had to seek alternative treatment after birth to get a second opinion about my skin which is when I found out I had atopic dermatitis that had been ignored by Dr. Murphy every time I complained about not sleeping. This happened in 2019 but now I feel comfortable sharing this because no one should have to suffer the way I did. He could have listened to me and given me proper care but for some reason chose not too and I’ll never understand why. Hopefully his practice has improved. I would never want someone else to experience nightmare I had with him. Ignoring woman isn’t healthcare.

The obgyn I had for my daughters journey into the world was much better. She actually listened to me and had better ethical practice.

High risk pregnancy with type 1 diabetes and hashimotos and I felt my care for immediate health and longterm health with pregnancy was always the number one priority with Murph. The honesty and thorough care at that office was the best.
