I wholeheartedly recommend starting up lessons with Jonathan ASAP!
When I started, I knew very little on the guitar apart from odds and ends I'd learned as a kid playing throughout High School. Over the last 6 months or so, Jonathan has helped immerse me into the world of music theory as applied to guitar playing. I never would have been able to figure out where to even start if I hadn't walked through his door!
The new knowledge I've gained (plus vastly improved fundamentals) have really inspired me to go out and see what I can produce as a guitarist, in addition to enabling me to learn and play my favorite music in a live setting.
Jonathan's a fantastic teacher who I hope to continue working with throughout my guitar playing journey!
