Beautiful atmosphere and impeccable service. Never once needed to ask for a refill, they were that attentive. Food was cooked to perfection. I ordered the wagyu striploin, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve eaten in my life. I have celiacs, and they had no problem accommodating my gluten restrictions. One of the best the PNW has to offer, truly.

Food was a little underwhelming for me but service and atmosphere made up for it. A little spendy.

Always love going here. The menu changes often, but you can't go wrong. Great cocktails and wine list too.

Very nice place, great atmosphere and superb service. Was disappointed with my pork as it was mostly fat and gristle. Everything else was great!

I came here last weekend to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation and asked to be seated outside. The table was not set with any silverware, linen or glasses when we arrived (nor were any of the other empty tables). We ended up moving inside due to being in direct sunlight. Once we were seated inside to get out of the sun, the sun came in through the windows (we were seated next to the bar) and there were no window coverings. Bummer.

Heads up that they do not serve lunch on the weekends, just brunch. I had the shrimp & grits. It was good but not great. I also had a glass of rose and the chocolate caramel tarte. The tarte was delicious and nicely presented. The service was just ok. There was a couple time my water glass got very low and we wondered where our server was. Overall, we had a good time, might ask to sit not by the bar next time.

Had drinks at the bar a couple of times during our stay. Found it really strange that despite not being busy the bartenders took a very long time to meet my eyes and acknowledge my presence.

The most hilarious part of breakfast was that they charge a 3% culinary charge! When I enquired about that, they told me that it was for cooking my breakfast! I truly wonder what other crazy charges restaurants are coming up with? !? Oh, to add insult to injury when I asked for an omelet as my 'Made to Order' eggs with my American Breakfast, the server informed me that it would have to be scrambled eggs because the cooks were too busy! Hahaha. As someone who has been cooking eggs for the last 62 years (I'm 68) I didn't realize how much longer it took to make omelets v.scrambled eggs. I guess I've wasted years of my life making omelets.

Jory is a wonderful restaurant located in Newberg near lots of interesting wineries. My wife and I really enjoyed our meals. My wife had a delicious pasta dish, and I had the Waygu steak. It was cooked perfectly, medium rare, and was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Our waiter, Grant, did an excellent job taking care of us, offering wine and dessert suggestions. The atmosphere was upscale but casual.
We really enjoyed our dinner and look forward to dining there again.

High quality typical resort restaurant but done very well. Dinner was elegant and delicious as is to be expected. Lunch with the lounge menus was a great option. Reasonable and fun with fare consistent with barlike feel. Easy to see why it comes up first in every search for restaurants in Newberg.

I received a warm welcome coming into the restaurant, and the aroma of the ambiance was of a smoldering log on the fire pit. Everyone is very nice especially Chef Jack Strong!

We had a great experience at Jory this weekend! The staff was amazing, they never missed a beat. Everything we ordered was delicious. You can tell they put a lot of thought into each dish, using fresh local ingredients as the star.

Not as good as I expected. But overall pretty good. Their front desk girls need to work on customer service. I suggest thinking before speaking and dismissing what people look like when they come in and remember to be courteous regardless. You never know who you are serving. Restaurants that treat everyone with dignity and respect. Get the best reviews from me.

Great restaurant with some delicious PNW food! The AC in the room can be a little cold if there aren’t that many people in it. Make sure to try out the truffle fries - they’re really good!

Beating the triple digit heat w/ a burger & beer in a cool space (both literally & figuratively).

The Allison is a beautiful resort with that PNW vibe. The service at the Jory was excellent! The chilaquiles were so so. Probably wouldn’t order them again. French toast was delicious as were the eggs benedict.

Great environment and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend booking a reservation in the dining room or stopping in at the lounge for a drink or casual eats. Enjoy the timeless decor while admiring the subtle touches craftsman woodwork. The employees are also great and very knowledgeable!
