Owner rides a horse to work everyday. His thoughtful and respectful help with my gear was appreciated. He and his wife run the adjacent jewelry store. Both are great at what they do.

I bought some locally tied flies that were quite effective on the local waters. Met a guide there who was purchasing a couple of rods for customer use so the shop is supported by locals too.

This is my favorite store in Joseph. Rob does a great job getting customers what they need. If you go to northeastern oregon stop in to get the latest information on where to go and what to use. I would highly recommend visiting Joseph Fly Shoppe. They have great hats and shirts too.

Great experience, they were so helpful in getting all the right gear and showing us some local spots. The owner even took some time to show me some knots I was having difficulty with. This was the best experience I’ve ever had with any fly shop. Worth stopping to check out.
