Joy Teriyaki, Clackamas OR

I love love love love love this location! They have a plant shop inside Their food is always yummy and filling. I had the teriyaki salmon last time I was in, and that's probably my favorite dish now. They had this cute sign that explained the importance of teaching kids to grow and take care of plants. So wholesome!

Owner is extremely nice and hospitable, lots of plants makes the atmosphere feel inviting and service is great. Best of all the food is fresh and delicious, perfect blend of vegetables, meat, and yakisoba noodles. Teriyaki sauce is one of the best tasting in the Portland Metro area, highly recommended!

Great place. Super friendly staff/owner. Was very good with my 5 year old. Very cool restaurant that also sells plants.

The good was pretty tasty for a decent price. Has the Chicken Katsu plate and it was tons of delicious crispy chicken with tasty sauce.

WoW. The energy felt in this space.puts your mind at ease and your soul at rest. There's an indoor plant shop inside as well. Where they teach little ones very important attributes to have, through, taking care of plants. It's a different environment than I've ever come across before. It was nice and tranquil. It gives you a moment to stop and just be, for a few minutes. Very quick, very delicious. Homemade. I will definitely be back.

This place is so beautiful and the food is nothing to be sneezed at either. I had the chicken teriyaki plate (classic) and my partner had chicken katsu. Both were delicious!

Great place to eat the family that runs it are real gems very kind very polite all of the plants give off great oxygen very clean would suggest dining here to anyone

The place has really good. Teriyaki. The little plant shop at the front of it is interesting.

The placed is filled with green life, aesthetically pleasing and peaceful. I came by myself and it was wonderful. Soft jazz and the warmth of the environment truly compliments the name of the little 'Joy Teriyaki' shop hidden and cuddled in next to target. A forever favorite for now on as I know that if I want to go somewhere that doesn't feel like home, a mini vacation I would say, I know where to go. Food was great, customer just as good. A+

Stopped for lunch. Food and service was good. The plants in the restaurant were a bit overwhelming and jungle-like.

They have great dishes for the right price and for the right stomach! I enjoyed the Orange chicken dish the other day, and with the teriyaki sauce on the rice, it made it all the more yummier. I also added the spring rolls to my meal, I wished they had 4 of them instead of two, would have made it better!
You can get any dish/meal to go, I would call ahead if your going to do that, less of a wait.
Each dish is made fresh, so it's nice an hot. I have eaten there a few times now, and they get better as the time goes on! Go eat there tomorrow! You won't regret it one bit!

Food was good, people that worked there were extremely friendly and attentive. Beautiful plants all around. A good spot to grab some quick, affordable lunch.

Most unique teriyaki shop. Excellent food with a plant shop that is part of the restaurant. Everytime we dine there, there is pleasant piano music playing. The menu is full of different dishes, not just teriyaki.

Bad.

Gyoza was barely fried, had to throw them in the air fryer for a few min, I also got 7 even though the order was supposed to be 8 peices.

Orange chicken, barely tasted orange and had a bunch of weird frozen diced veggies. I’ve ordered orange chicken at dozens of teriyaki places and never had such a weird pile of veggies mixed in. Also about half the portion I’d normally expect.

Got the chicken katsu is was a very generous portion and two heaping helpings of the most perfect white rice. THEN on the side it came with a delicous and super crisp iceberg salad. They really outdid themselves on this visit today.

This place was amazing! Rice was perfect, chicken was perfect and teriyaki sauce was bomb. The salad was great, too. Plus I bought a cute little plant for my babies room while I was here.
