Front the Start a terrible Company to work with. As far as the completed Work they did Great.took over 5 months to Do so. The Customer Service, Sales, and Management are terrible. They Lied to us every step of the way. Broken Promises all the time, If you looking fpr a Contractor for your Home remodel. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Whole small bathroom remodel ended up taking from 9/16/20 from the time I signed for design until 4/24/21. Very poor communication, I had to do all the calling and questioning. They always had plenty of excuses, this order was late, or went to wrong place, or wrong client. My toilet was installed incorrectly, left human waste seeping underneath it. The major installation was done just before Christmas in 2020, but did not have enough flooring to complete project. Finally was completed 4/24/21. Do not use this company!

We love our new windows. They really made a difference on our heating/cooling. They are attractive, great quality and have several great features. The installation crew were fast, friendly and professional.

Not only did the siding improve the look and value of our home, but it has also quieted the outside noise level and helped to improve the insulation level of our home, which will probably save $$ down the road.
The installers were very friendly and efficient, a pleasure to work with. The whole job only took about a week and a half to complete the installation. The crew cleaned up every day during the install process, keeping my home looking presentable at all times.

Our experience with k-Designers and installers was professional and positive. The installation of our bathroom shower kit was swift and looks great. They did what they said they would do. We'd have know trouble recommending them to friends and others.

The installer cut into a load bearing stud without permission or a sign off from a licensed engineer. The installer did not line the walls with green board. The company re-labels exterior doors as interior doors to avoid providing services.
As a licensed engineer, I cannot legally recommend them.
Additionally. We paid in full and are now being billed by the finance company. We may need to retain an attorney and file suit.

Very rude on the phone. Gentleman called me on a "Wrong number" and when I phoned him back he asked who I was and was rude to me. AFTER I explained that I wasn't a customer he promptly hung up on me. Based on this experience I would work with a different business in town. Assuming there are hundreds of such options in Portland area.

To review the entire window installation service would require much more than I'm willing to relive. Terrible experience with terrible results. Had to contact Better Business Bureau to even get the windows installed. Upon "completion" there were huge voids in the caulking, shims sticking out past the siding, and excess caulk all over the place. Why the installer wouldn't clean off the excess caulk and apply it to the voids is beyond my comprehension.

Any further inquiry into this company will show their many complaints.

I had the K-Designers in the Portland Oregon area come out to my house and do my siding, and I was pleased with the work, and the contractor doing the job, even though they were not the cheapest bid. Two years later, I needed a cut out box done for my doorbell, and after more than 4 times of the office personal telling me I would get a call back, I finally called a fifth time, and was answered by someone that quoted me the price of $45 to do the work, with the matching siding they previously put on. The problems continued from there, even though I received the price, they would never return any phone calls to schedule a time. About three weeks later, I was looking to get a new front and side garage door, so I called K-Designers just to see how quick the response would be, and to my surprise (well not really), I received a call back immediately to schedule a salesman to come out and give me a bid. I informed the sales manager (that is what he stated his title was at least), about the incident with the cut in box, and he assured me that it would be taken care of the same day as the sales pitch. The next day the manager came out to give me a quote on both doors, and informed me that the cut in installer would be there within an hour. After a very high bid on the doors, I told him I would call him later with my decision to go with his quote or not. If the cut in for the doorbell was done when promised, I was going to go with the high bid because I liked the materials being used, but later that night, when the salesman called asking about my decision, I informed him that I was not giving a decision until the promised installer did the job previously discussed. It was then he informed me that the installer had some personal business, and he would be at my house before 11: 00 am the next morning, then after doing my work, would take the rest of the day off to attend to his family. I ask him if he was sure, that they could take care of their business first, but was reassured by the sales manager that he would be at my house in the morning. I took the day off of work for the service promised, and waited until 1: 00pm the next day for the installer, who was a know show. I again called the K-Designer office, and was informed by the person answering the phone, that the installer had been with his family since yesterday, and had no plans of doing any work that day. I asked to speak to the salesman that had made this false promise, and he informed me that he had someone call me to reschedule the appointment, but he could have a crew out immediately to install the doors. I was so frustrated with taking a day off from work for no reason, the constant unproffessionalism and lies of the K_Designer staff, and how willing they were to quickly install an $8,000 job, but would only give me a run around when it came to a small job, I refused their bid, and had another company do my doors. Now, fast forward a couple of months, K-Designers call center contacts me about potentially doing my awnings, so I informed them about my experience, and asked them to never call me again, they deeply apologized, and sent me over to a supervisor to deal with the issue, but at that time I just didn't want to deal with them, so I hung up. I decided to see what, if anything had changed since my complaint, so I called the Portland office last week, and spoke to the person answering the phone, and was told that she was the only one in the office, and that she remembered me, and someone would call me back the next day on the cut in box job. Still waiting for that call back, I'm quite sure it will never come, but if it ever does, I'll update the review, but I'm not holding my breathe. I would not recommend this company to follow through with what they say.
