Kasbah Moroccan Cafe reviews
17We were hungry for a little something and popped into this cozy cafe. Let me say the grilled cheese was to die for! The best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back with friends and sample the other dishes. Very friendly staff and an overall wonderful dining experience.
The place is very cute and decorated sweetly. We came during lunch at their opening time and had to wait about 20 min for our food. It was counter-service ordering/pay first, then they bring out the food to you when you're ready. The place is not ritzy, but the portions are perfect on the larger side, and the food is very well done! I ordered the lamb sausage sandwich and its was so delicious. The bread was great, the sauce was so flavorful, and the lentil soup I had on the side was perfectly seasoned and warming. I'm excited to come back and try even more food from their menu and support a humble local small business that brings quality food to the community.
Authentic Moroccan food in a cute corner cafe. It really feels like being in Morocco, from the decor and music, to the phenomenal food! The mint tea is perfect and is served in Moroccan tea pots, and the veggie couscous is excellent!
Tasted your DELISH date cookies that I bought at the Mid Autumn Market at Lan Su. So good. I'll be seeing you for in restaurant food soon
Support small business! We had an excellent lunch at Kasbah! It was incredibly flavorful and a great way to try food from around the world. The owner was incredibly sincere and nice. Amazing food!
Such an incredible restaurant! It was recommended to us by our Uber Driver (shoutout to Mohammed, who is from Morocco!) and we were not disappointed at all! The food is EXQUISITE! We had never tried Moroccan food and we have been missing out.
The spices, herbs, ingredients…. Everything blended together so beautifully and it was something that as soon as it hit our mouths, we knew we found an instant favorite.
The veggie couscous and the merguez (sandwich and plate) were out of this world…. But I need to rave about one thing in particular, and that is the Moroccan Mint Iced Tea. Wow…. Just wow. I’m from Texas so I love my tea. When I say that this tea BLEW all other tea out of the water (no pun intended) I mean it.
Absolutely amazing food, the lamb sausages were a standout but everything was just incredibly
Kasbah is absolutely magical! It was my family's first time trying Moroccan food and I am so glad we did. It is a small corner cafe, but it is truly something special. Chef Naji was so friendly when ordering. We got the garbanzo bean tajine, merguez (lamb sausage) tajine, makouda (Moroccan potato patties), Moroccan mint iced tea, and Moroccan spiced coffee. Each dish was fantastic, bursting with flavor and spice. It is reasonably priced for the portions as well with several vegetarian options to choose from. Highly recommend this place, and we look forward to returning!
Amazing food, feels like déjà vu back in Moracco, top-notch quality, good price, friendly one of those places that attracting when you’re near by
Incredible food, great value and clean and comfortable environment. Staff is extremely friendly.
Excellent food in a great atmosphere. Quick service with a small menu of very well priced items.
Authentic Moroccan food.
I just moved to Portland 2 weeks ago and this is my favorite restaurant. I tried everything on the menu and everything was delicious.
We had 7 vegetable couscous, meatballs, and merguez sandwich, iced mint tea and iced spices coffee cause it was so hot outside. Everything tasted amazing especially the 7 vegetable couscous, such a genius combination, can't recommend it enough!
Excellent food and decor. We particularly enjoyed the chicken bastilla and (hot) mint tea. The neighborhood is rough, but well worth putting up with for the quality of this restaurant!
Absolutely marvelous garbanzo bean tagine! Big, delicious chunks of veggie, beautifully spiced served over rice with little raisins. And the iced mint tea is the best iced tea I have ever had. Be sure to stop in here!
Authentic Moroccan dishes and hospitality in Old Town Portland. We had the chicken tagine with large mint tea and felt like we were transported back to the Atlas Mountains. Shukran!
