Sudden events had us move to Portland almost overnight. We were able to do everything online and move right in two days later. Great location, great condition and the leasing team, Magola and Heidi, are a pleasure to work with. My daughter especially likes Friday's when the puppies come into the leasing office. Oh and a shoutout to Jovany and Ryan who helped me find move-in help. I could not have done it without them.

Love it so far. Moving 400+ miles can be difficult but Magola made it such an easy process not only to visit the property before renting, but made sure that the application and approval through move in process were the least of our worries. The quality of materials in the apartment are far and away the best finishes I’ve encountered in looking for an apartment for the past 3 months, and getting a ground floor unit with courtyard access and 14’ tall ceilings really makes it feel like I’m in the penthouse. Looking forward to meeting more of my neighbors, but so far everything has been a dream.

Magola, Ryan, & Jovany have been extremely welcoming and helpful to us as we moved across the country here. The community is extremely clean, the staff responds to our needs quickly and are respectful of our home when entering. I’d highly recommend Kearney Plaza when considering moving to the Pearl District!

They literally left me with a broken front door (no working deadbolt and the door didn't latch) for three months after being the victim of a domestic assault and having to have my door broken down for life saving measures. There’s so many better more personal and caring options in Portland. I suggest making Kearney Plaza your last resort.

It has been an absolute pleasure moving into the building. Staff have been knowledgable, accommodating, and thoughtful. Residents have been friendly and welcoming. Amenities are well-chosen and accessible.

Wow Do Not Live Here! We only lived here for year and was a nightmare. When we moved out they charge us to replace the carpet and gave us $1600.00 are u kidding me? Even the carpet estimate says carpet may remain. This place charges you crazy repairs after move out and do nothing when you live there. Our dishwasher was broken the whole time we were there and just gave up asking them to fix it. On the first week of moving in the washer and dryer was broken and had to get a new one and was not able to do laundry for 2 weeks! Nightmare I have rented many apartments and I have never had received a move out repairs like I have in this place. Total scammers!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kearney Plaza. The building is beautiful, clean and well kept with an amazing amount of greenery for the middle of the Pearl. I have enjoyed the outdoor fireplaces, had a birthday party for my boyfriend on the rooftop, and enjoy walking through the quiet neighborhood. All that and Piazza Italia is just a block away! My apartment at Kearney Plaza (studio) felt big and roomy with vaulted ceilings and huge windows. What else can I say? Management - Kirsten especially, has been amazing. She sort of takes all tenets under her wing, especially during COVID times. I have come home to mini care packages from management with things like hand sanitizers and vitamin C packets. Very very sweet and caring people. Chris and Eric in maintenance are amazing as well.

Nice location and conveniently located above Starbucks and a short walk from Safeway. However, Greystar management as a large corporation is not helpful. Very overpriced for other apartments in the area that are newer, bigger, and have more privacy. Fire alarms consistently would go off in middle of night requiring evacuations and waiting for fire response to shut off for outdated system. There are only 3 elevators but only 2 would usually be working due to maintenance. Moved out and had to pay additional charges to them keeping my securtity deposit even though I cleaned my apartment properly and was told I would not have additional fees (cleaning, carpet cleaning) by the manager during the move out inspection. Would not recommend. There are better quality, lower priced apartments in the area with better management teams.

The things to love about this apartment building are the high ceilings, large windows and location. That draws you in and is magical. However, having lived at Kearney Plaza for 4 1/2 years, those are the only reasons it earned any stars. I do not recommend living in this building. And, to provide context, I have never written a negative review. The owner, a large national corporation, does not communicate care. One example is the month-long period that all three elevators were inoperable after a middle of the night fire alarm (at least the 3rd I experienced). For a solid month, we were given periodic updates about parts, delayed parts, etc.as we, and senior residents, lugged grocery bags, luggage, etc up the stairs. The owner did not provide a credit, or even a cookie, in appreciation of the inconvenience. The building has been under-staffed in the past year or so, and has had considerable staff turn-over during my residency. Due to the shortage of staff, a few months ago the tenants were chastised for putting too much recycling in the rooms that are set up for garbage collection on each floor. We were told we needed to take recycling down to a smelly, icky garbage room on the first floor if the two cans were already full of recycling - or we would be fined. As I moved out a month or so ago, a number of other tenants were leaving. As we exchanged our thoughts on our way out, there was a shared sentiment that the building had gone "downhill, " and that we couldn't wait to leave. Keep looking!
