Kelz Beauty & Barbershop reviews
6I looked a lot of places for someone to do a rad undercut. I found Kelli and she rocked it! And she's cool as hell, real, down to earth.
Lili Styled my hair this morning, and I could not be more happy with the job that she did! My hair was very damaged and just needed a little life added back into it, but she sent me home with a fantastic new Do. I absolutely would recommend her to anyone! Also the price for the job she did was an absolute steal!
Kelli is beyond amazing at her craft from cuts to color and more.
She exceeds my high expectations and knows how to deal with all of my hair needs. I have NEVER seen someone so talented with clippers, if you have or want an undercut, shave or mowhawk - she can make it so uniquely amazing. Vivids? Blondes? Literally any type of hair, shes got it the talent and skills for the best version of your hair yet!
This place is nice! She works hard and you get what you pay for - top quality hair-goal perfection. Salon is an inclusive and friendly space. I have come here for years now. Her talent is straight up out of the park, and Portland is SO lucky to have her.
I absolutely want her to do my hair when I get married someday too, she can do such amazing work with gems and braids. JUST WOW! Superior attention to detail here!
You gotta book with her!
This review is for Adrian Cassidy an independent contractor at Kelz.
My 14-year-old daughter went in with a Groupon and had an appointment with Adrian Cassidy and after being there for over 4 hours my daughter left with the worst dye job and absolutely nothing close to what she wanted. Her appointment was on February 23rd and I've been trying to get in contact with the stylist or the owner for 2 days now with no response. At this point I would honestly advise anybody who's considering to go there make sure you do not sit in this stylus chair and this is not the first negative review that she's gotten. Why she's still allowed to work there is beyond me.
My wife and I paid over $200 including tip and to have them treat us this way is truly an embarrassing blight for this business.
My daughter went in wanting to get some colors out of her hair that she had tried at home and Adrian promised her that she could do this job without bleaching her hair and yet my daughter honestly looks like she's wearing a wig because of how bad this dye job is.
Paying 40 for a girl with scissors is too much for a mens haircut.
There is no parking.
3 times I've come here and been asked to wait - even with an appointment - but when I miss an appointment I get billed!
There is no front desk help, and no one offers your coffee or a beer like the other 'boutique' places for this kind of price.
You are billed by the 'styleseat' app for using it. Basically you're paying for the privilege to bring your business here since there is no overhead on the shop's part.
I've referred 2 other people and both have not gone back after trying once.
The hours of the owner are extremely limited - each week it seems there is always a few days off - I'm just not pleased with this place and won't be back -I'll go find abuse elsewhere.
