Keystone Vacation Rentals - Pacific Winds Lincoln City

We have stayed with Keystone vacation home’s properties as a visitor and also use them to manage our vacation home. Speaking as a top selling Realtor in Portland, Oregon since 1988 I can tell you Chris and team do an amazing job. I have 100% confidence in Chris’s commitment to give the utmost care to any property and any guests needs.

Clean condo.
Easy parking.
Great weather: there's nothing that Keystone has to do with, but still notable, since we left a snow storm on Mt. Hood to go there, so it was much appreciated.
The full kitchen and laundry facilities were great.
We didn't partake of the hot tub due to medical reasons this trip, but hope to next go-round.

The contactless check in/ check out is the best part of all!
We do not go on vacation to deal with desk hassles; we go to be left alone & enjoy each other's company without outside interference! Dealing with all the messy bits online before we left home was beyond awesome!
The only outside people we delt with for 3 days were the checkout lady at Safeway when we got into town and the gas station attendant when we got close to home.
Now that's relaxing!

Overall, we plan to return as often as possible: We've found our Beach Spot after 22 years of searching!

Pro's: Close to the beach, great views from our unit. Comfortable beds and nice living space with open kitchen. Underground parking and elevator was useful for my parents. Nice TV's in every bedroom. Enjoyed the gas stove and large refrigerator.
Inside washer and dryer was convenient.

Con's: The fish smell in the kitchen never left. We thought maybe the previous guests cooked fish, or something was stuck in the disposal. Thank goodness we all like seafood but the constant smell was annoying.
Hot Tub was NOT hot. It took 4 days to finally heat up to 100° and it just wasn't comfortable either. Very disappointing as we were really looking for a unit with an awesome hot tub/view.
There was a family of pigeons nesting behind the hot tub and we constantly were trying to keep them off the hot tub cover.
Master bath shower was sorta hot but the other bathroom shower was COLD! It was very inconvenient for our family of 4 to have to use just one bathroom for showers.
Kitchen utensils were lacking.we enjoy cooking even on vacation and were disappointed in lack of pots/pans and other cooking tools.
Essentially our stay at "No Worries Mate" wasn't worry free and I won't plan on staying here again.
I should add that we previously owned a condo here on the coast.not at Keystone but elsewhere and we have stayed at a LOT of different places. This was not the worst but not the best either.

We had a wonderful stay this last weekend for Valentine. Keystone was very professional and responded quickly to a couple questions I had. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next trip and have recommend Keystone to several of our friends.

The view from the 4th floor was AMAZING! The condo was wonderful and sitting in the hot tub while watching the ocean was priceless. Not sure who Brandon was but evidently his crew was ready to go, LOL

Easy check in, beautiful condo, very clean and comfortable! Beach access is walking distance and incredible views from the balcony and hot tub! Only 3 blocks from down town shops and restaurants but very quiet and little traffic at the condo.

My all time favorite place to stay on the Oregon. Beautiful and always very clean and nice. The view is stunning.

It doesn't get much better than this! We just came back from our third stay and are already looking forward to our next visit.
The oceanfront views cannot be beat, especially from the hot tub on the balcony. When we're not enjoying the beach, we like to take advantage of the onsite pool. During COVID you do have to signup for a timeslot to swim, but the means you get the pool area to yourself! The condos and facilities are clean, and every condo we've stayed in are well stocked and comfortable. Worth every penny. Our favorite place to stay on the coast!

Been working with Chris a great can do attitude willing to work with you with numbers times and dates. Chris is very well respected among his peers and his staff.

*** In response to the owner review. I stated all being over the age of 18 to management meaning myself not 25 years of age, why go into detail as to how old I actually was if they clearly do not allow anyone younger than 25, it's pretty typical to state over the age of 18 (Adult). I sure was not leaving any "facts' out. Symply trying to explain the actual reason we could not proceed with the rental even though 3 out of 4 people were the age of 25. (Why make a way longer review for someone to read) As for ownership responding to every review trying to argue with genuine reviews that may help someone with information before booking, I find very unprofessional. Did I once state that ownership/ management was "Hiding" anything? No. Simply a suggestion to "add the age restrictions as one of the main terms to select and agree to". I made it clear it was my mistake with not reading the rental agreement all the way to the bottom. That is why I wrote the review and stated to read the agreement fully. In hopes to save someone's time with researching and booking a property that has an age restriction of 25. I do want to add the rental company does call after booking and the first thing they ask is regarding this policy, so again my suggestion would just be to add it to main terms to select and agree to before booking. Would save everyone's time.

After reading more reviews and responses from ownership/ management and receiving a response to my review. I am very glad we did not stay with Keystone Vacation Rentals.

Original post: I would like to start by saying I was so extremely excited to stay at one of Keystones vacation rentals! Most reviews seemed great and the condos look beautiful! I went ahead a booked a condo and agreed to the several main terms. Unfortunately my mistake with not reading the small rental agreement print that states everyone staying in the condo had to be over the age of 25! Very disappointed due to being pregnant and wanting a nice romantic getaway with the fiance when he is well over the age of 25 and I'm just short of it. Of course the property manager had to cancel my reservation.

They should honestly add the age restrictions as one of the main terms to select and agree to.

The unit we are in is quite comfortable. Not for small children. Thankfully they're home with grandma. The ocean view is extraordinary. Sadly the hot tub on the deck drowns out the ocean sound unless you crack a window. That said, you can sit in the hot tub and have the ocean right there! Bring coffee or walk a short distance to Maxwells for good coffee and breakfast.
