So kidsports bamboozled the public by protesting the sale of the property to Fred Meyer (a "big box" store) only to get the unwilling to subsidize (in collusion with the City) the construction of the ugliest big box you can imagine. Now, out of a surfeit of gratitude, they blast us with screaming on megaphones every morning that we can hear 2 blocks away. So we all helped pay for a project that produces no tax revenue except for the portion that now boasts townhouses that go for $700k that I'm sure has made some developer very happy. Way to go Eugene!

There was an incident when a parent and the coaches gf involved herself with a student and principal. The principal even told her to go back to the field. Instead she grabbed my son by his throat. Whole her bf the coach screamed threats & profanity at my child while the baseball team watched. The cops were called. I notified kidsports. Justin said he'd call me back. They did not & did not remove the coach or gf even tho they have to sign a "contract". Kidsports doesn't care about children.

We’ve been doing multiple sports through Kidsports for years. I’m so frustrated and pretty much at the end of my rope at this point. There are never coaches appointed until days or weeks after the season starts and parents feel pressured to volunteer as coaches. It’s a huge responsibility and most of us don’t have experience with the rules and such. And when a parent does volunteer, finally, they get no discount whatsoever for their child. This year they placed my kid on a team way across town, instead of the team we’ve always been on. A 15 minute drive each way for us. We live in Churchill and we have always been on the Churchill teams. Communication is terrible. I’ve written to Ryen several times, with no response. Just no response. How disrespectful is that? Equipment is mostly poor, especially baseball helmets. The parents on our team this year, pooled our money together and we bought our own catcher’s gear because the catcher’s gear that KidSports supplied was so horrible. Basically unusable. And this was the replacement gear for the even more horrible set that they gave us at first.

As I sit outside this brand new, huge, shiny facility on Amazon Parkway, I wonder where our money goes….

We had a great season. Lots of fun. But the reffing was aweful. We as coaches had to start a game reffing it, because there were no refs until at least ten minutes after the game should have started. It was awkward and humiliating. It was inconsistent in every aspect. We didn't know where we were supposed to shoot free throws. That changed weekly. We had a game where a technical was called for reaching over in an inbound pass. They intimated the kids. And unless I'm not seeing it. They didn't follow through showing the Champs? Got to get better.

Seriously disappointed in our experience with KidsSports. There seems to be little to no organization or communication within the program. They don’t take the kids jersey sizes when you sign up and give out adult sizes way to large for 6th grade kids. Blame it on timing, instead of poor management. The majority of refs don’t seem to know what they are doing. Most have really poor game management skills and bad attitudes. The game venues changed at last minute with no notification. Honestly this has been the worst experience I’ve had in the 10 years my kids have been playing sports. My children will not be returning. I would not recommend this program to anyone.
