Truly the absolute BEST Thai food I've had in ages and ages. And, I go to a lot of Thai restaurants! My friend loved her Pad See Ew and I adored my eggplant/mixed veggie with chicken plate! I wish I lived nearby - it's truly an exceptional place!

Food is awesome. I love the curry puffs and spicy noodles. Don’t expect friendly service. Years ago the food and service was top but now it’s borderline rude. It’s weird. Feels like you’re inconveniencing them regardless of dine-in or takeout with no menu modifications or special requests.

We ordered the Khao Soi (a northern Thai soup dish) and it came with barely any soup at all (see picture). Management was extremely rude when a refund or corrected order was requested. This was the same manager who was also extremely rude to us when we asked for water while waiting for food on a separate occasion. The food is sub par at best when the adequate amount is actually given. We won't be ordering from them again.
Avoid at all costs.

Amazing Thai food, fantastic service. Very Portland decor with a Thai twist. Highly recommend the lobster pad Thai and iced coffee, but everything is excellent.

We had the Pad Thei. Med heat was just right for us. Any hotter we wouldn't have been able to eat it.

Tried Thai Sausage fried rice. Never seen this dish before and I really enjoyed it. Quality ingredients, balanced flavors and nice portion size. I'm here on a Tuesday night so it is a very quiet. Service is polite and friendly and my food was out fast. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu soon.

The food is pretty good but twice now I've asked for something to be prepared gluten free (I have celiac disease,) they've confirmed they would make it gf, and then when I've picked it up it is not gf.

Both times I've asked them to double check the order placed and both times they claimed I never asked for it to be gluten free, even when my husband and friend has been there and witnessed them saying/confirming it would be made gf.
They don't seem to listen, and then they lie when you confront them. No refund offered, not even the actual gluten free version offered to be made. They quickly hung the phone up after lying to me, not even saying good bye, which I thought was fascinating.

Since the exact same thing has happened twice now I will no longer be going, and I encourage others with celiac disease or gluten intolerance to be wary of King Curry since you could end up very sick after being told non-gf food is gluten free.

So lucky to have such a tasty Thai place nearby! You can’t go wrong here, the food is all amazing. We order once a week!

I have been to several Thai restaurants and this one is my favorite. I will drive 15 minutes out of my way whenever I’m craving Thai. Much love to this business ️️

Food is amazing but the workers are terrible
Customer service is more important then the quality of food.because the whole reason your coming back is for both.

Ordered my usual came in a container half the size as normal and was only 3/4 full on the yellow curry very much so a disappointment

First of all, I don't recommend the order to go from this restaurant. I ordered wonton soup. Generally, when I ordered noodles soup to go, the restaurants would pack the soup and noodles separately, but this restaurant doesn't. I had the experience of dining in this restaurant before, and the food was OK, but the service was the worst. If you want to eat in this restaurant, it's better to have dine in. I don’t recommend the order to go from this restaurant because the quality of the food (to go) is different from the quality of the food when you dine in. For me, the takeout was extremely disappointing.

One of the best Thai/Sushi hybrid restaurants around. Been going here for years and they're always super friendly. Used to dine in, but shifted to take out. They always get the order right. Sometimes you want curry and sometimes you want fresh fish.

This place is the definition of hole in the wall, but in the best way! The food was the best Thai I have ever had. And I love Thai! My husband and I got the yellow curry and their wontons. SO GOOD! Their service was crazy fast and they are so nice! 10/10 would recommend! (Only pic we got of the meal)

Bad customer service. Instead of non spicy brings spicy, doesn't put forgs in to go order. Instead of 2 portions gives one. Bad service

The spicy Thai salad and pineapple fried rice were amazing. I really liked the atmosphere, the decor and the music. This place had a really nice vibe. The service was great and the people working were really friendly. Also I was digging through the candy bowl before I was leaving and the guy at the counter handed me a huge handful of candy:) I will definitely come back again!

I really enjoy this place it doesn’t get the reputation it deserves they do not have a huge selection like panda express but they definitely have delicious food and large size portions for the price I am a huge fan of their bourbon chicken and noodles and their blacken fish is also quite delicious when fresh

I've been eating here for years but tonight was the last time. I'm revising my prior review to reflect the new reality. Every time we order now they get something significant wrong. Often one dish will have the wrong protein or spice level. We've tolerated it in the past as I worked restaurants for years and understand mistakes happen. The real problem is that they don't recover with any grace. This time they had to call us back to let us know they were out of the sashimi. That's fine, it happens. I showed up to pick my food up, and they gave me the straight up wrong order. Charged me for my food and gave me someone else's. So, ten minutes later when I got home and realized the error, I called them and arranged to return the wrong food and get mine. No apologies, no free appetizer, nothing. When I showed up, they tried to charge me more money instead of apologizing. I had to show them my receipt which showed I paid for the right food. And of course, our food was dead having sat for an extra twenty minutes. There are other Thai places in the neighborhood now. I won't be coming back.
