Kokiyo Teriyaki, Portland OR

Kokiyo is straight fire. This unassuming hole in the wall on SE 7th has been dishing out the best teriyaki for decades now.

Had the chicken teriyaki it was great. Kind of surprised me maybe it's the way it was supposed to be only finished half my plate to ok the rest home

VERY clean. Just your your neighborhood corner teriyaki shop with a cute little Asian grandma taking orders. Everything was fresh and made to order. My teriyaki chicken was not overcooked and was not drowned in teriyaki sauce, it was on the side.

Worst teriyaki I’ve ever had. They dip or pour over their egg rolls syrup. Sweet sticky syrup over egg rolls.

Hole in the wall and worth the stop for a great lunch, the area is a bit on the shady side, but just be smart and lock up your car and don't leave any valuables in sight. Great food, good selection of options for all.

Favorite teriyaki spot in SE. Quick and delicious, the folks that run it are accommodating and just all around awesome.

Visiting from out of state and stopped in for a quick lunch. Delicious teriyaki and gyoza. My friends and I were very impressed. I would definitely recommend to any one. Wish I lived here, because I would definitely would come in on the regular.

The food was plentiful. I really enjoyed the vegetables. They were cooked, but still crunchy. And the sauce was not to salty.

Easily the best teriyaki place in Portland. I drive out from Tigard just for their chicken teriyaki with extra spicy gojuchang sauce. Totally worth the drive!

For being a small place on a back street of Portland, this Teriyaki Joint was delightful. Reasonable price, tasty food, and short wait times are among the pros. Plus, who doesn't want a katsu burger?

Great place for a low carb meal. Skip the rice and they give you a huge portion of cabbage and broccoli. Delicious!

Oh they are the best teriyaki chicken place in the downtown east side! Reasonably priced, and excellent food. Family owned and run, best small business in the area.
