La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield

My family and I lost power during an ice storm in our city and had to find a hotel to stay in for a few nights. When I called and asked if there was any rooms available, the general manager was extremely polite and made sure and got us a room, when we arrived, they were very nice and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. When we had to extend our stay, they made it very easy and made sure that we knew if we didn’t need the extra nights we wouldn’t be charged. All the front desk employees that were there during our stay always had a smile on their face and all very polite. The room was clean and very spacious for our family and two dogs. The breakfast was good and the location was great. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This was a stop during a last minute road trip. There were multiple hotels in the area when we pulled off the freeway. We had stopped at another hotel and the nightly rate was a bit more than we wanted to spend. We then got on the phone and made a reservation at La Quinta while we were sitting across the street. We checked into La Quinta and the staff was very nice and very helpful. The room was clean, we didn't get noise from other rooms, got a good night's sleep and left early the next day.

Best place to stay. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable as well. I give it a 10+

This is a great place to stay if you’re driving on I5. The rooms were clean, the parking lot was fairly safe, the hotel is dog friendly and has a grass patch in the middle that was great to walk our dog. There was a Tesla supercharger a block away which was perfect for charging your car.

Excellent service, good amenities and clean rooms. Breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, toast, bagels, juice and cereal. Oatmeal and coffee were ok. Night manager was helpful. The pool open hours were generous. Facilities were all modern.

The walls are super thin so you can hear the neighbors talking. The hotel is clean, breakfast was good but not a big selection (the basics are covered), room lighting is limited, pool was not really heated but was clean. Towels were crisp and white, bathroom is good size. Conveniently located near freeway. A few places to eat nearby. They allow pets for an extra fee. Not a bad place at all. We just got unlucky with really noisy neighbors!

I booked this hotel for the Jacuzzi tub, which I verified twice with Reservations. When we went to our room, there was no tub, just a shower. When we went down to straighten it out, I mentioned the Jacuzzi tub and was told that they haven't had those in years! I was quite upset, but the staff was very nice; they put us in a room with a bathtub, so at least I could have a hot bath with no children interrupting. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Pet friendly! And great customer service at the front desk! Will definitely make La Quinta a 1st choice going forward.

Staff was very pleasant on check-in. Got room 115 which turned out to be a problem. It is LOUD. Like echoing voices and footsteps and closing doors that sound like they're in the room. I challenge management to lay down in that room and just listen for a while.
That said, after 30 minutes of laying in bed with heavy traffic outside my door, I went and asked for a quieter room and was accommodated.
New room was very nice, save for the extremely drunk man passed out directly across the hall.

After a long drive and finding a lot of accommodations full, I stayed here I booked the final room for the night for me and my small dog. The front Desk staff were great The Continental Breakfast was ok the Worker for the breakfast was excellent. I tried not to book and go with the flow for Eugene Oregon but it was a mistake I found the price was a bit over the top all I can say is plan ahead.

Excellent place to stay, extremely professional staff, great amenities, great food nearby, will definitely stay here again.

This is by far one of the best LA Quintas I have ever stayed at! The rooms were great size, the lights in the room were amazing (dimaable led thin lights), shower amazing (great pressure and shower head), bathroome mirror amazing. Bed was comfy and had a nice weight down comforter (more than 2 thick sheets, but not so thick you're too hot) pool area clean, pool area bathrooms clean.

The breakfast area was clean and a good layout. Breakfast was better than expected. Eggs were not rubbery, bagel fresh bacon not burnt and better than paper thin. Good selection for all.

Front desk staff was friendly, helpful, quick, and prepared.

This hotel is very convenient for anyone driving a Tesla or traveling with a dog. You can walk one block to the Supercharger and there is a nice grassy area for leashed dog walking. There is a brew pub next door, which we did not try but we will next time! Very convenient on/off the freeway and close to Springfield Mall. Unfortunately, we went to Shari's across the steet and it was very bad. There service was ridiculously slow. They didn't have two cups of soup, they had run out and were not going to make any more for the day. Pie was ok but it was a really bad experience and we will not return to this Shari's as this is the 2nd time we tried to eat there (We like PIE!) but their food isn't hardly adequate. Try the Hop Valley Brew Pub if you go, they look good - or get in the car and drive down the street a bit.

Very nice, clean rooms. Staff is super friendly. Location isn't anything special, though it is right next to a few restaurants, including but not limited to Taco Bell, Denny's, and McDonald's. Breakfast is typical, but good.

Wonderful place to stay! The check-in girl really knew her job! This is the place I will stay next time.
