Ladd Circle Park & Rose Gardens reviews
12Too bad this area has gentrified. The old gardens are showing age and people that can't seem to come together to make the gardens as free and beautiful as they once were.
Nice area to walk and enjoy the flowers and greenery all around Ladds Addition neighborhood.
Beautiful, a sensory overload. An impressive planting and cultivation of a multitude of the prettiest and most aromatic of roses
Lots of varieties of roses, the best time to visit is the first or second week of June. Safe and away from major traffic.
Wow, if you are in Portland in the summer this is a MUST place to visit. Four islands of roses in a residential area of 1920s houses where everyone seems to be competing in a best garden competition.
Ladd Circle Park and Garden is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. The park's lush green spaces, beautifully manicured gardens, and charming fountain create a serene atmosphere that invites visitors to relax and unwind. Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, a picnic with friends, or a quiet place to read a book, Ladd Circle Park provides a delightful escape from the urban bustle, making it a cherished spot for locals and tourists alike.
Literally I cried at how beautiful it all was & the AMAZING aroma such a little peaceful spot
Stunning! I’m grateful to live in a city with such a wide variety of fragrant and colorful roses.
My sister and I enjoyed our 2 mile walk through Ladd's Addition neighborhood, from SE 20th to 12th, and up to Hawthorne and back to Division, for lunch at Pastini's. Wonderful outing!
Not the same since Palio closed its doors, but still a strange getaway in historic Portland's suburban development.
Took my Service Dog Lucy for a walk here. I know it's just the time of the year but it was muddy which made letting her have some playtime difficult. The people who we encountered were friendly and the drivers were courteous
