I took my bike to Lakeside Bicycles, even though it's out of my way, because of poor customer service at the other Pinarello dealer in town. They treated me with friendliness and respect. They made a small and understandable error on my bike. When I took it back, they completely owned the mistake, apologized, fixed it right there, and gave me a new part for free for a different problem. So different than my experience with the other shop! I'll definitely be back!

Heard this bike shop from Strava group and we passed by this weekend. Had some fun conversations with them and the staff answered patiently on my random questions. I would definitely visit here more frequently if I don’t live 20 miles away

We have bought many bikes from Gordon at Lakeside over the years. He and his staff are most knowledgeable and make sure you leave with the right bike and fit for you. Any service or maintenance issue, he and/or staff are always friendly and quick to help. We will continue to buy our bikes and have them serviced at Lakeside. Thanks Gordon!

I have to say I have always been a little hesitant to check this place out. I thought that being an upscale bike shop in Lake Oswego that it would be stuffy and pretentious. I am ashamed of having thought that way after actually going there. This is my new favorite bike shop in town. They have a great selection, including parts that are hard to locate elsewhere, but the best thing about the shop is the people who work there. Everyone there is super cool and you can tell that they are passionate about cycling. I never for an instant felt out of place or unwelcome. Some of the best customer service you will find at a store of any kind. Highly recommend!

I just called about information on replacing an ebike charger and employee was more helpful than he really needed to be being that they don't sell these Chargers but he directed me to another business that might be able to help and I appreciate that.

Relatively new to this area, so I thought I would stop by a local shop that I can keep going back for my bike needs. Then the first visit at Lakeside Bicycles turned out to be a blast!
Ted is a great employee there that took his time to answer my questions and showed me a couple of bikes with no pressure at all. The overall demo experience was really awesome, which made me think a buying process would be as swift as this was.
Then I had a question about replacing my crank set, and the service department provided me with a top-notch customer service as well. Bre (was a pro mtb rider) really took her time to answer my questions and helped me find the best solution for my bike. Calum working with Bre is also an awesome dude.
This bike shop is in decent size and looks professional with no corporate atmosphere. I can't wait to go back there to speak with Bre for my bike needs.

Neighbors — wanted to put a plug in for a local bike shop that provided outstanding service to my family. Lakeside Bicycles, on State Street, went out of their way to help us with some gear that we were unable to temporarily access and didn’t want to buy. They extended themselves to make sure we had a great ride. Their bikes and helmets are solid, the service is professional, and it’s local! We will be taking our business to them in the future!

These people were knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. I took my E-bike in for a tune up and also ended up (needing) having my rear wheel rebuilt, too. They did such a good job, my bike was returned to me every bit as good as when I bought it 4 years ago.

The best 2 things about Lakeside bicycles is:
1) There quality of workmanship
2) They never hinted at or asked for a review.

Had a great experience here getting my son's bike repaired. Peter was the mechanic and did an outstanding job. Very personable guy and did a great job getting the brakes and the tire fixed. Can't recommend highly enough.

I feel a little tongue tied about what to say because my experience is so personal, but I guess that’s the point. A customer walking into a store is an individual and has their own identity as a cyclist. In a way that I’ve not experienced at any other shop that currently exists in town, I feel that I have been “seen” as a cyclist and human, and have been fully accepted as such. Normally, I’m uncomfortable in bike shops. I love bikes and riding, but don’t enjoy feeling on the outside of an in-club. I’ve had good customer service for clothing and accessories at some of the other shops in town, but when it comes to looking for a bike, Lakeside is the only place in town where I feel that I am not being pressured or condescended to. For months I’ve been riding into shops and trying to start the process of buying a new bike. Lakeside is the only place where I feel at home enough to go forward with the process.

In particular, I must sing the praises of their fitting specialist, Zak. I highly recommend spending the time and money on a fitting package. Aspects of the geometry of my body were being underutilized in my cycling (and this wasn’t just because I hadn’t been through a thorough fit process on this bike—I had) are now going to be able to function properly, and I’ll feel more comfortable while riding. Zak is easy to talk to and I was able to relax and give and take in information without suffering the social fatigue which I’m prone to experience in similar circumstances. Zak is an artist with the fit bike and uses the highly advanced technology to good effect. I am not only very excited about the bike I’ll be getting, but Zak applied many of the changes to my current bike and I’m already feeling stronger and more comfortable on challenging, hilly, high paced rides.

I’m grateful that Gordon, the shop owner, has made customer service a priority for decades, in part by not running his shop on a commission based sales model. This means that everyone in the shop has a reason to contribute to the friendly helpful but not pushy vibe that makes the shop so appealing. Thank you!

Primo shop right here, worth the drive if you're looking for a top notch experience. From their staff knowledge, their mechanics and just their inventory, its everything you want or remember a bike shop experience to be! I drove three hours from the Oregon Coast after they agreed to hold onto a bike for me based just on a verbal agreement. 5 Stars and I'll be visiting them again for sure!

Love this shop! Great group of guys who constantly surprise me with their exceptional customer service. When I was in need of a new bike I was happy to buy from Lakeside because of this. I’m new to cycling, so having a shop with knowledgeable staff that are always kind and welcoming is a big deal to me.
