Landmark Apartments reviews
22Tried getting in contact with landmark on wanting to rent and when they respond it was a email with a. That was it and when I called they hung up on my and was super rude the whole time would never recommend applying no worth the time
Recently gave complaint regarding bug treatment, they send one guy he did not even spent 3 mins in the apartment and he said treatment finished, and they charged $500 for 5 mins treatment.even though still having lot of bugs in the apartment.again called to the leasing office and we told them about the issue.and they sent same guy again.but still no result.so many bugs in the apartment and we are having sleepless nights with these bugs.strongly disappointed with the treatment they are providing.i want to give 0 rating but no option here.so frustrated with their treatment.they can charge more if they did the correct bug treatment.not recommended to any one to take lease here.please check bed bugs in the apartment before you enter.
Management has changed 3 times in the last roughly 6-7 months, that was frustrating. Hopefully this one stays and keeps a good flow
My 5 star review is for Katie Maize. She is AMAZING! If you ever need anything, just contact her. She's thorough and helpful. She provided me with all of the information that I needed and even went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything that I needed!:) I'm thankful for Katie!
Recently taken over by GreyStar previously ran by Thrive. The apartments themselves are nicely laid out and relatively up to date, decent price for the area. Great walking trails and parks nearby. Had some issues that the previous owners Thrive did not address, but after speaking with Vanessa she was able to take care of all my issues and address my concerns, very polite and professional! Quiet area with great neighbors.
The price and quality of the appartments are great. They maintain amenities well. Have Amazon drop boxes. But Thrive (property managment) has really dropped the ball on garbage pick up. It often spills out into the street. Epesually the paper recycle by the mail boxes. People stuff those even though they are already spilling over into the grass and street.
Great community, lush green setting, friendly atmosphere with great neighbors who keep a eye out for each other. Lots of community perks that alone may not seem like much, but add up to quite the package.
Rent is reasonable and the security deposit. Office is friendly and professional and the maintenance supervisor and staff fix things quickly.
Apartments have electrical and mold problems. Flea problems in outdoor areas. Mostly unreserved parking but rarely available (at least on my side of the complex.) I have been confused about the utilities bill as well. Good area, greenery, doggie bag stations, etc.but also surrounded by other complexes that may offer better options and services.
Changed are lease arrangement to 13 months when we only wanted 11.didn’t even know you could do a 13 month lease. The office was very rude to us, and told us that it “changes automatically” Don’t move here.they’re way more better apartment complexes around the area just look harder.
I have lived here for 10 months to-date and it has been a great place to live. It is generally a quite place with plenty of trees and shade. Staff is very responsive and helpful. Serious maintenance issues have been addressed within 24-hours. Other issues within a few days. Oh, and a variety of coffee is available in the leasing office for general consumption.
I have been living here for almost 2 years now. I am having a really peaceful stay. Locality is safe, beautiful and has easy access to almost everything. I would recommend it to anyone.
Let me start by saying the I lived at the Landmark apartments for seven years. SEVEN. YEARS. That's a long time in one apartment. There's a reason.
I started living there in the summer of 2011 when there was a different leasing group that owned the Landmark, I didn't experience the same deposits that people do now because they used to have special offers, so I can't really say if the deposits are fair. Rent is pretty fair for the area though. There are maybe one or two places that are cheaper in a three mile radius but they're worse places to live. Keep in mind: rent is still expensive. This is the heart of tanasbourne, a really nice area, and you're going to have to shell out more money if you want to live there.
To me, a single 23 year old, it's astronomically expensive. To a small family or maybe a few friends, doable.
The walls aren't white, so if you never end up painting it's really not so harsh on the eyes because the walls are a soft khaki. The top floor has vaulted ceilings, most if not all units have a fireplace (real fire, not gas or electric), and everyone gets a balcony or patio. Gotta be brutally honest: I don't trust the balcony. They reinforce them every other year but the ones that are near trees are always.pliant looking, and pliant is not a word you want to describe a plank of wood suspending you in the air.
They repave and repaint the parking lot every year. It's about a two week process and it sucks really bad. Parking isn't great in some of the corners of the complex and the repaving and repainting really crimps your style and your mood. The speed bumps are insane, they're everywhere and are about a mile high. But the entire parking lot is lit at night, so it's not scary at night. There's only two entrances, and they're right next to each other. Sorry.
There's valet trash. That's right. Valet. Trash. It's horrible. It's a bunch of teenagers in a truck that pick up your garbage most of the time. - not all - between Sunday and Thursday in the evening. Have trash during the weekend? Too bad. There's no dumpsters. Keep this in mind if you're looking in tanasbourne, it's a very common thing in this area now. Also, they charge you a flat 25 dollars for this "service".
There's a pool that's serviced and open during spring and summer, it's not bad, a little small for a thirty building complex though. There's a fitness center with an indoor court and a hot tub. Fitness center is open 24 hours, which I found very nice. The mailboxes are all located in one central area so it can be a trek if you're not in the middle of the complex.
There are sugar ants in the summer and fall. Every year. Without fail. You can request them to send someone in to spray your apartment - they don't charge you, and it's "green" not harmful for kids or pets - if the issue is bad.
Units in the center of the complex are a little more expensive because they have nice views. And as someone who had one of the forest units, yeah, it's a really nice view. The forest has a walking trail so occasionally you'll see people with dogs on their way to the dog park. There's also a full park next to the forest with a basketball court, as well as a play structure for kids near the mailboxes.
The area is really nice, if you just have a look around tanasbourne you'll find a lot of really neat places and a lot of the bigger stores within walking distance. There's a preschool inside the complex, but it's not owned by the landings. I can't speak for the elementary or middle schools, but Westview High School is a very nice school with lots of programs for sports and academics.
Overall I've really liked living here, it's peaceful, and considering the location, a pretty good price. I've never really particularly liked and of the office staff, but they're not bad either.
I have been a resident of landmark for several years and management has been truly amazing! They are attentive to your needs and if there happens to be a problem they are quick to respond and to ensure things are handled properly. Great place for families.
Dog poop EVERYWHERE, it's disgusting! The recycle receptacles are disgusting and not well kept, they are full of garbage and junk. The garbage is picked up in a can that is kept at your door and sometimes they miss days so garbage gets backed up at your front door & smells.
NEGLIGENT! There is mold all over my bathroom and they refuse to acknowledge it's even there. My dryer broke and they refused to fix that correctly. You have to involve the courts just to get the horrible staff to even acknowledge you!
Good location and lush greenery around the apartments. The agent (Paige Register) at the leasing office has been very impressive in handling my move-in formalities. She was crystal clear in explaining me the process and the documents needed and everything happened so smooth. Thank you Paige for all your support and also addressing my queries/concerns as soon as I reported them. Very supportive staff.
Have been staying here for a year now and must say it is a nice apartment complex to stay in. Most stores are pretty close by, there is a nice park for the kids at close proximity and a very good dog park close by. The staff has always been very helpful and have always got prompt solutions to issues. The only issue is with the walls and flooring which are very thin.
Everything is in walking distance in this lovely safe neighborhood! What more could I ask for:)
Went to office with tiny problem, and Lance jumped into action! He had it taken care of in 2 minutes! Thanks for quick attention. The office staff is always helpful & courteous.
