This is close by to me and great for runs. Sometimes I’ll ride my bike there just to watch the ducks. The events held there are always great too. There is almost always a couple homeless people there but that’s expected in Portland.

Love this park very fun. So many free events. Comedy in the park as well as Shakespeare in the park and the ducks are so beautiful

Although parking can be difficult, once you get into this park you will not want to leave. There are so many sub areas inside the park, shade and sun, running space and sitting spots, grass and water. Whether you want a picnic, a place to throw a frisbee, a chance to watch the ducks, or anything else one might do in a park, you can do it here. I love this park.

It's even better on weekdays, with fewer people and easier parking.

Awesome!
Hadn't been in years. Got a wild hair, packed the backpack for a travel trip with the dog, and holy s#%t, we get their and Thiers live music playing! Walked around park remembered of leash moves during summer. Bummer. Couple more laps, she chased her first duck, hah, all was well.

Beautiful park it's well tucked away, my husband who's lived here all his life never knew this was here. We go often and enjoy picnics together

They have cleaned up much of the homeless encampments and the bathrooms are cleaned every morning. Tennis courts were in good shape.

Very nice and large park, if meeting people you will need to know which section they are in

Large park with playground.
I wonder if there are more people having a picnic or cooling off in the shade than taking a walk.

Lovely park to stroll through.
We hosted our union rallies there as well. Plenty of room to spread out and the playground kept the kiddos busy.

Beautiful park to go for a walk or jog, to bring a pet or kids. U can feed the ducks in the pond. Plenty of room for events, reunions or birthday parties, tennis courts, playgrounds etc

The park is in a nice neighborhood and is beautiful with a pond and ducks in it. There are also free public restrooms which were relatively clean. I relaxed on one of the benches in the shade and ended up catching a one hour nap while listening to nature. Amazing!

This park is so pretty and calm and quite. Sometimes they have events like silent discos and such. This is the perfect place to set put your blanket and chill!

While houseless I would nap here midday and was never accosted. While Portland itself is full of the neo liberals who do more talk about equality and inclusion than action based movements that create discomfort and discussion.

Laurelhurst park is kinda a neutral gentrified space of acceptance and kindness. It really does look and feel beautiful there. The energy is really lovely even on wet "gloomy" days. Many activities happen here and a load of concerts.
Check it out. It's pretty enjoyable.
