Laurelthirst Public House reviews
16This is a rockin' place to eat and enjoy music. Bring earplugs if you're coming for the music!
The bartenders are great. Beware of the hall monitor between the early and late sets. We are locals and just wanted a quick drink at 8: 30, but he said we had to pay the band cover to get a single drink even though we were not staying for the band… best to move on if you are not there for the music.
This bar is always welcoming, with live music most nights. Food is basic bar food, withe generous portions. Outdoor and indoor seating
Friendly and popular divey blues bar. Lots of older folks, good drinks, good music, indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of people on the dance floor once music started.
If you love good danceable music, à wide sélection of craft beer and friendly people the Laurelhrist is the place. Live bands every day 6-8, no cover.
Love this place. It has been consistently good over the last 20 years and maybe before that. The music is terrific and top-notch.
That was, hands down, the best Reuben I've had this side of the Mississippi. As a New Jersey/New Englander I don't say that lightly. Listening to John Craigie live, eating grilled pastrami. This is the life y'all.
Really cool music but the people who come here are not. Came outside for a quick 10 minute pit stop with my husband and the guy next to me couldn’t wait that long to light up when I asked if he could hold off for a few minutes because I’m pregnant. Really discouraging that anywhere you want to see live outdoor music in this city it has to be tarnished by toxic smoke and inconsiderate people.
Awesome pub/music venue with world class acts on any given day of the week. A must for visitors of stump town to get a taste of the vibe and artists that made Portland famous.
The Thirst is my favorite, neighborhood bar, hands down. Tonight, they featured the Pagan Jug Band, and they did not disappoint! Great music, awesome, friendly service and a chance to connect with friends, old and new. I couldn't ask for more.
Good band even though it wasn't who I hoped to see.
Good beer list and tasty veggie burger with additions of mushrooms and chiles.
Nice comfy neighborhood venue. Good food, good service, good drinks and great music. Be sure to look out for the Colin Trio, a personal fav!
They cultivate a wonderful music community every night of the week. Great folk/americana/bluegrass/alt-country bands play here. Great atmosphere.
This is such a great place to hear live music. On top of that it has great food and great drinks. I can't recommend it enough.
At this time in March of 2022, proof of vaccination and masks are required. They have been big proponents of everyone taking care of one another and I appreciate that in this business.
It's been in Portland a very long time and there is a reason for that. If you come to visit, I highly recommend it. If you live here and haven't been there yet, get your butt over there!
I absolutely adore this place. Classic PDX location. Straightforward menu, great drinks, good food. Great company young & old with live shows! Really charming layout.
I went to a concert here - first time in years. Hasn't changed. Same typical Portland music/bar. Gritty edge to it. Great beer, a little too loud
