Taylor showed us the various houses we were interested in seeing. She was very friendly, helpful, and had good knowledge of each house. She was very accommodating and drove around town with us after working hours so we could see all the houses on our list. So helpful.

Erik helped us with additional information and the application process. The application was detailed and time restricted and he moved us forward to a successful outcome. Our particular situation required coordinating multiple roommates, one of which dropped out of the process in a critical moment. In the final hour we were able to find another qualifying roommate and Erik kept us all on track. He was always so helpful, respectful, and fun to talk with.

We had a terrible experience with Lava Ridge. We lived in one of their rental properties for a year, and every time something needed a repair it was a struggle. They seemed to always try to fix things as cheaply as possibly, which resulted in things being fixed slowly or only halfway. Our oven didn’t work for almost 4 months. To top it off, they withheld returning almost $1k of our security deposit, mostly for “touch up paint” — we spent 7k of our own money painting the interior when we moved in and did our own touch up paint when we moved out. They are an infuriating company.

Our experience with Lava Ridge PM has been great so far! We just signed/started a year lease and worked primarily with Erik. He has been on top of everything during the leasing process, up to move-in day yesterday. The ease of the online portal for paying rent/deposits + submitting maintenance requests is a huge plus, and we appreciated the utilities set-up checklist to keep us on track for move-in day.

We were able to get our rental secured without physically being in Bend which was also helpful. Moving and finding housing from afar is difficult but Lava Ridge and Erik made it as easy as possible for us.
