Lava Room, Portland OR

Fabulous! I have been going to PorQueNo for years. Was looking for a taco place that has fresh margaritas closer to south Portland. Their tacos are spectacular, margaritas are better the PQN, ambiance is so cozy, comfortable with a touch of eclectic. Staff is very attentive and friendly and don’t rush you out. Prices are very affordable and wonderfully fresh and unique flavors. My new favorite restaurant in Portland!

Been looking for a place to get tasty veggie tacos for a reasonable price. I found it! Great staff, loved the chips with beans and cheese. Definite repeat visit for me.

Great vibe, great food-especially exciting to have such varied and tasty vegetarian and vegan options. So happy to have this spot open in the neighborhood and can't wait to go back!

Good food, decent prices, cheap beer and pinball!? What more could I ask for? The mushroom tacos were tasty. The steak fajitas were a bit bland and steaky and the beans had a lot of cumin. However, the ambiance and nice bartender made up for it. The rice was tasty, the chips were fresh and salty (yum) and the salsa was good. We will definitely be back.

Super great atmosphere. One of the managers seemed real mad, but beside the slamming of a few doors, we dug it. Been back a few times already.

Lava Room opened 4 months ago and I finally had a chance to stop in and I'm in love! The staff here is so nice and attentive!

They have one large bar section and another smaller bar next to the kitchen They have lots of tables in the dining room, and a cool arcade room in the back.

Lava Room has nailed their own unique and I fabulously delicious twist on the Portland Street Taco with so many fun options.

I had one of their cocktail specials and it blew my mind with it's tantalizing flavors. I love the Serrano Sunrise (Serrano + Cilantro infused Lewis: Clark vodka, ancho reyes verde, accompani crimson snag, lime, pineapole, mint, black pepper). I hope they make it a part of their permanent craft cocktail list.

Their sangria is also fantastic!

I had the chicken tortilla soup to go and it is loaded with chicken, tortillas, and deliciousness!

I will definitely be back with friends and family to explore my way through their menu.

Absolutely phenomenal, this place is miles above what it was prior. Had the Albondigas dish alongside the veggie fajitas, ceviche and nachos and it was all great. Special shout out to the service, everything was fast and well made. Stoked to come back regularly.
