Legend of Szechuan, Eugene OR

Legend of Szechuan is one of our favorite places. They have a welcoming environment, great food and good service. Excellent for take out over the weekend!

Og chicken tasted a little bit stale. Mongolian beef was pretty good and so was fried rice. Reasonably priced.

I don’t think decent Chinese exist in Oregon. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but the orange chicken had almost no flavor, even after adding my own spices, and was very disappointing. I do commend them for being open during a pandemic and appreciate the’ working, but food taste needs to be better.

Day 1 after eating at legend of Szechuan:
I am on my 7th trip to the bathroom since I woke up 8 hours ago.don’t eat here if you know what’s good for you

Soup was flavorful but not hot (temperature-wise, not spice level), szechuan beef wasn't hot either. Rather sterile environment with no music.

Excellent fresh authentic food, nice ambiance and friendly wait staff. EUGENE, you should come here!

I don't think this restaurant deserves five stars. The price doesn't match the quantity，I won't eat here again！

Very interesting menu. Flavor profiles are well aimed. Presentation is on point. This restuarant could stand on it's own in any city in the world, and I'm suprised to find something this refined in Eugene. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The feel and ambiance is refreshing and peaceful. I look forward to returning.

Absolutely amazing food! The service left much to be desired, but I've only been there once so far, hopefully it was just a bad day

Ate here with friends and ordered a variety of dishes to share. It's not often I can say every single thing we ordered was excellent. Will definitely be back. This is one of my new favorites!

Great! The last two pages of the (large) menu feature vegetarian dishes, but there are also a few other vegetarian items located elsewhere, including the excellent cauliflower dry pot. Also, they nicely made the dan dan noodles vegetarian for us. Very friendly staff, and a good-looking place.

They where fast, nice and it was very good flavorful.i got the golden fry rice with pork.i recommend to go their lunch, and dinner.i give 5 stars

I believe this is one of the best restaurants in the whole Eugene, Springfield area! We are regulars, and the staff is amazing. Very nice and don't even get me started on the food! The food here is the #1 best Chinese food in Eugene, hands down! My wife and I have search everywhere for a great Chinese restaurant and this place is the best! They take time because they make everything fresh! Which is always worth the weight. It's authentic and the scenery is perfect for a great date. Highly recommend!

Very good food. We got ours to go. The soup was good (put some rice in it) and the beef was very tasty. The prices were very reasonable at lunch time also. Worth trying out if you are in the area.

Lunch is to the point, the menu has around 8 items all one price. I chose beef with broccoli, my lunch companion got the shrimp fried rice.
We ordered a pot of tea and enjoyed our fresh, delicious entrees. Each had a distinctive flavor, at just under $8 a great deal.
Parking was nearby, no fee. It was clean and well cared for, staff was efficient.
I would return for sure.

Lunch specials for $7.99 are what bring me here regularly, but come for dinner some time and order off the full menu. There are a lot of fantastic Szechuan dishes, many of them spicy but these are clearly marked on the menu.

Saturday midday visit. Waiter made us feel a little uncomfortable. Most of everything we wanted to order was either sold out or they did not serve it anymore. The online menu is incorrect also. We asked for a few things that were off the online menu did not have any of it. Service was poor, the waiter did not check on us after bringing our food out to us. We had to get up and find the waiter to request our check. Food was mediocre for the price. Safe to say we won't be back.

Great staff—helpful and nice. Quite accommodating for vegetarians. To top it off, the food was great.

Amazing food and service. Hot pot was excellent and staff very attentive. Helped us when we seemed a little lost. Gently kept us from ordering too much.

I try a lot of Chinese restaurant. That one is my favorite. There’s foods is so delicious. That's authentic Chinese food.
