Lemelson is a beautifully secluded winery in Carlton. We went on a Sunday afternoon and they got us in right away. Josie guided our tasting experience and was phenomenal. She was so personable and really seemed to care about our experience. I would definitely recommend Lemelson to anyone looking for great wine and even better service.

I was not impressed. All the pinot available was too peppery for my taste and the price was on the high side. The atmosphere was nice but there was a lot of machinery noise at the time of my tasting.

Excellent wines and customer service to match. Did I mention excellent wines? A must to visit. Great communication from the staff from reservations to explaining the wine. Highly recommended.

Look, there are plenty of wineries in the region. If you're looking for a view don't go here.
If you're looking for decent pours while tasting, don't go here (also overpriced).
The wine was mediocre at best (imo).

I've been to about 15 wineries in the area and this one was really disappointing. They also don't allow indoor seating because of COVID.ummmmm in's almost fall 2022.

Don’t waste your time here. Wines are decent, but given the outstanding wineries all around (Fairsing, Shea, Knudsen, and about any other you can try), why spend time here? There’s no wow wine in the bunch. AND, the tasting pours were so incredibly small, you barely had more than a small sip of each wine. No “revisiting”.

Worse, the tasting is completely devoid of any personal interaction or in depth discussion of the wines. Simply stating the grape & vintage… then shuffling off. The person said “I’m only here for the harvest”. So no meaningful personal relationship to the wines or winery.

If you’re looking for the smallest of portions of average wines and don’t like personal interaction, this is your place.

A hidden gem. Our wine steward was wonderful. The location was beautiful and the wines were great.

Willamette wines are what they are. Our tastes are more towards fuller bodied reds; but, when in Rome. This review is for local comparison only. A product stands on its own but intangibles can make the final difference. Our party enjoyed the wines at Lemelson. Our pourer, Justin, was an informed host with the right amount of attentiveness. He helped separate this experience from the others of the day. A very nice time overall. We'll definitely be back.

We recently were on a road trip, visiting from Michigan. Back home reservations are not needed to go to vineyards so we didn't realize when we got here that most of the vineyards required one. We only had one day to spend in the area and decided to go to this vineyard because it listed on their website that reservations were recommended but not required. Unfortunately when we got there we were not able to have a glass of wine because we didn't have a reservation. So very disappointing. Luckily we did get to go to one vineyard in the area that did not require them so thank goodness for the lovely people at Ghost Hill winery.

We had a wonderful tour of the winemaking operation, hosted by Ashleigh Campion, the Associate Winemaker. She was very personable and generous with her time. Lemmelson has an awesome operation, beautiful setting and excellent wines. Highly recommended!

Year after year, we have introduced new friends and relatives to the beautiful Lemelson Estate for a relaxing afternoon at a world class winery. We often bring cheese, fruit and charcuterie of our choosing to accompany the beautiful wines, although, plates are available at the facility as well. The facility is lovely yet unpretentious and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We've visited wineries all over the world and have enjoyed nearly all of our visits. Lemelson remains one a small handful of favorites!

I order curbside pickup and two hours later picked it up. It was fast and easy. Henry was brilliant in makes us feel comfortable about returning for a tasting outside when the weather turns warmer. Here's to rose!

Lemelson is the best! We've been members for about 5 years, and in addition to making amazing wine (very reasonably priced compared to others), they always provide exceptional service.

We spent a long weekend in wine country and our host here was our favorite of the entire trip (so sorry we don't remember her name, but she had red hair and excellent socks!)

The staff hospitabily offered extra heaters to combat the cold, and the wine was fantastic.

This will certainly be a place to which we return in the future!

This is our favorite Oregon winery; it is the place where we are club members. The wines are excellent, as is the service. People are friendly and knowledgeable. Did I say the wines are great. There is body and complexity in these Pinots. These are not soft, elegant wines; their elegance comes from their strength and flavor. This place gets a triple yum.

Spectacular wines, knowledgeable staff, and a wonderful tasting experience. Lemelson also just saved my holiday gifting dilemma and rush shipped some delicious Pinot to my loved ones who cannot travel during this pandemic. Thank you!

We were out in the area and dropped in for another great tasting experience. Besides getting to taste seven wonderful wines, we were able to sit outside under heaters and listen to seasonal music. Another relaxing, delicious afternoon at Lemelson!
