Lil' Cooperstown Bar & Grill reviews
19Always our favorite local spot to grab a bite, a drink and watch the game! Wonderful customer service and attentive servers.
So this is more of a question than a review. Just curious, is it okay for a bartender to scoop ice with her fingers into a drink? I am hoping I don't get sick.
This is the 2nd time a friend and I went to have brunch in the bar.
Thinking the first time 6 months ago was just a fluke of bad service.
The bartender/waitress was very nice but the service there is sub par.
We ordered 2 waters prior to ordering our food.
When the water came 10 minutes later, dripping on the table, I asked for napkins. After another 10 minutes and the napkins never came, I got up and took a few small bar napkins. The waitress/bartender never acknowledged forgetting them.
When asked what we wanted to order, we decided to split an omelette with cheese, hash browns and a side of bacon.
The food arrived 20 minutes later. One plate, no silverware, potatoes (not hash browns) toast (which is extra and we did not order it) and a plate of burnt bacon.
The omelette had about a tablespoon of cheese sprinkled on top.
Why would the cook or server allow the burnt bacon to be served?
They had to take the plate back to correct the order and returned it again with no second plate to split it and again, no silverware.
We had to ask again for a second plate, a knife to split it, napkins and forks.
The food itself was cold and not once did anyone ask us if we needed anything, a water refill or to check on how the food was.
I do not recommend going here. Maybe the restaurant side is better service, but the food would not be any different.
Food was tasty but maybe overpriced for a standard breakfast. Sight lines for TVs is just ok for watching games from a booth.
Always a good spot to grab a beer and a quick bite to eat while catching some football! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and even more than happy to change the channel to a game we wanted to watch without hesitation. Great food and atmosphere every time.
Got the kung pao chicken wings, extremely salty, could only force myself to eat about half of my half order
Super impressed. I was wary of visiting the town of West Linn. The restaurant staff were stellar. Immediate greeting, very friendly in a down-to-earth kind a way. Alec, our server, young and on-point. I was a server for 20 years, our server was hitting all the marks. We never had to look for him, he checked in appropriately, was patient with all of our needs. Everything was delivered timely. Food runner also on point, polite and confident. And then as we were leaving another staff, possibly a manager casually engaged us in conversation about the town and our apprehension of visiting (two black women). He assured us this was an easy going place. It felt genuinely real. I look forward to visiting the town and this restaurant in the future.
Always good food, no matter what I pick. Today was a delicious iconic burger and a beer. Perfect for what I was craving!
My food was excessively salty. It was a chicken wrap that seemed to be more breading than chicken and bacon overwhelmed other flavors. Other people, that I was with, enjoyed their food. Also, the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
New breakfast menu! I have the biscuit and gravy and the new parfait and it was delicious! Alfredo the kitchen manager is an excellent cook!
The lunch specials are a solid value, service is very good and the pitsoor seating is convenient.
This place is consistent.service is not always the best.good food sometimes pricy for what it is.nice family restaurant and lunch with a friend.
Don’t know about food and drink, but they had some of the most beautiful horses parked in front! I’ll come back when I have more time and I’m hungry for food.
Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Been coming here for decades and will continue. The burgers are the best in the Metro area.
Sat outside and the service was great. Ordered a tuna melt sandwich. A regular sandwich was delivered to the table. Server took it back. The second “tuna melt” sandwich I received was tuna on toasted bread, no cheese, topped with drenched greasy cooked onions. It even looked disgusting! And I like onions! Picked the onions off, but all the grease soaked through on to the tuna. Yuck! Politely ate half of the sandwich, as I didn’t want to send it back again since I was dining with an acquaintance that was paying for the meal. I don’t know what the chef was thinking. Such an easy sandwich to prepare. Doubt I will go back.
Sat down and waited for 15 minutes to have the assistant manager bring me a beverage.
Then waited 35 minutes for her to come back and take my order. That never happened!
Wasted my entire lunch break and no food.
Definitely will not be coming back!
P. S.
This is not the first time of having horrible service here.
This is a really cool restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and there’s two distinct areas separating the bar and restaurant, which was nice having a toddler.
I would give it a 9/10, but unfortunately I can’t justify the 5/5. The food was good, but not mind blowing. Good selection of beers and non-alcoholic drinks. Diverse menu, too.
We’ll be back, but probably just for the World Series or during football season.
Sat in the bar with all of the doors and windows open! Amazing service from the bartender and she nailed the lemon drop. Had appetizer of crispy chicken sliders and they were good with tots. Place was hopping with softball teams and families sitting both inside and out. Ample seating and parking is free. Happy hour is 3-6. Good beer and wine menu and they serve breakfast all day.
I had the fish n chips. Way too much breading and just wasn't great. However, this location has provided a better experience than the OC location. Sorry, just being honest
