Wonderful food with local flair. The tall Sasquatch like guy, Garry, is a really friendly and knowledgeable guy. Totally worth visiting a few times. If you’re lucky they will have the kalua pork special. PS give Garry Twin Bing candy bars as a tip.

All the food I've tried there has been amazing and everyone is really nice. Best place to eat on campus in my opinion. Also they have gorgeous art in this hall thing going in of waves and turtles *insert I like turtles vine here* and jellyfish and Its just all around *chefs kiss*

Had no seasoning on my food and the service was very unsafe from corona. Edit: i got food poisoning, worst restaurant i have ever been to.

I absolutely love this place, such good food. My only complaint is the take out containers rip and fall apart withing 5 mins of picking your food up. I know it's because they want to use recycled and environmentally sensitive materials but with take out being used more often they should consider making some changes to the containers.

Their food is great but they are the only local food joint that won't bring your food to their door (not downstairs) during this pandemic. Their inside space is cramped and not good ventilation. What a horrible business!

This place is great. I would recommend the sweet ribs (if you like fat), their tasty kimchi, and a side of vegetables. A couple cons though: 1) the takeout boxes are way too flimsy and disintegrate into the food, & 2) I wish they would put their phone back on the hook. I’ve gotten a busy signal every time I’ve called the past week on three days @ various times.

My company took 6 people there, and the cashier missed an order of their delicious food, and decided to just make the food anyways. Excellent place for some grindz

The combo plate is ridiculously good. We would go there just for the macaroni salad. I loathed macaroni salad until I had their's. Always worth the trip. Calling your order in for pickup is the best

The food is great and the price is as well (the price is a bit more than average but not overpriced). The location is cozy with a view to the street and you can enjoy eating your fatty delicious food in a nice Corvallis weather.
Definitely recommended to try at least once.

That chicken is still as good as it was 10+ years ago! Always get a bottle of Da Sauce to go! It makes a great marinade.

Worst Hawaiian food iv ever had food was uncooked.taste fawl like rotten meat in the refrigerator and the stir fry was was like no stir fry I have ever atenand this is coming from a person who worked in an authentic Hawaiian bbq restaurant for 4 year and what Hawaiian restaurant dont serve pork this place was a joke and disgrace to Hawaiian food truly disappointed

Wonderful food and the staff is incredible. We love it! The only real negative is that Gary the owner/manager doesn't allow customers using credit cards the ability to tip his staff. Really unacceptable and piss poor ethics. Those kids work hard and just because he doesn't want to deal with the extra paperwork required those kids miss out. Shameful

I loved this place when I was a student at OSU I now live 100 miles away and will make regular trips just to get the deliciousness know as local boyz

Little hole in the wall with quick service good food and large portions. I'm stopping here anytime I'm in town now

Aloha, well my quest to find the best hawaiian food establishment is still on the hunt. As far as Local Boyz Hawaiian cafe's food goes, it was ok. When you have a place such as this, there's some basic goods that you have to provide and that's Lau Lau and kalua pig plate with Lomilomi salmon or poké and poi.
Now I'm not saying it wasn't bad, it was tasty. The Kalbi was awesome and the chicken wasn't dry at all like most other establishments but as for the rice and Mac salad? All I can say is the rice was a lil dry and way too much pepper in the Mac salad. I like pepper but when that takes away the flavor from the Mac, it's not good.
Aside from that keep the Hawaiian Spirit going, Aloha

I expected more. The person who recommended this place to me really talked it up and honestly, it was just okay. The flavors in the food were pretty weak, and their soda machine seems to be on the verge of breaking down. Their place wasn't very clean either. I do like how all their utensils and other wares were all made of compostable materials, but it does mean that the box my food is stored in is kind of disintegrating with my food inside of it.

A favorite of mine that I will always get anytime I'm in Corvallis. Large portions of great food. Whatever they do they are doing it right for years. Great value and will never let you down.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Honestly, this is where I go for special meals, like birthday lunch. A Corvallis staple!
