Closed during Covid. Give me a break. Everything else is open. I walked up to closed store, and was approached by either an employee, or ranger maybe? I was warned to stay away.fine. I just don't buy into the fear aspect of this. Either way they were well past rude and into the threat level. I retreated to my family and saw Mt St Helens.

We stumbled on to this by accident. It is a cool little gift shop and Observatory. Worth the visit. Nice people, comfortable atmosphere and a wealth of information.

We have visited this place for many many years. Today we brought our granddaughter here today for a four generation picture outside of the gift shop.

What a cool Historical Oregon Coast experience! Built on a rocky cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Great place to visit while touring the coast.

Super friendly people and a good spot to watch Whales swim by during their spring migration. You can not go wrong stopping anywhere along 101 to enjoy the views.

It is now part of the Orgen States Park system so do not expect the tourist Shop. The parks poeple are really helpful. Also no flush toilets sorry. Great views. If you are headed south on 101 pull off after the whale in an little park right at the bend to take the old free way up. Those views are great. The road is one way watch out for bikes.

This is one of the better State Park gift shops. They have some really interesting items and a very friendly and helpful staff. The views from here are spectacular. This is a great place to see whales, too! The highway sign says Cape Foulweather.

Beautiful lookout! Gorgeous views and watching! They used to have the best gift shop on the coast. Sad hardly anything for sale, and no public restrooms! But still worth the stop

Closes at 4pm. Pulled up at 343 with the open sign up. Unloaded the babies in this chilly weather to have them see us close early as we are walking down at 346. Thanks. We appreciate it. View is fantastic though. Wonder how it would look inside the building.

One of the best views on Hwy 101! You are 500 feet above the Pacific where you can watch for hours. Great whale watching spot, The Lookout is operated by the state parks and has gifts, interpretive displays on marine life, and friendly volunteers who will answer any of your questions.

A nice stop off the highway for some learning, a few trinkets, and some spectacular views. The staff is knowledgeable and you will learn a lot from the various posters and videos showing. The views are what makes this place a good stop - windows allow you to be inside from weather while enjoying some spectacular coastline. The shopping is nothing to write home about but kids will like some of the trinkets. A good stop for all ages.

Insider tip: take the Otter Loop road from 101 south and this will be the final destination after a few pull outs for scenery.

This place is just brilliant! Offers a panoramic view of the entire coast from the lighthouse on one side to the northern side of the coast. Don't forget to get your digital camera if you are a photography enthusiast. Your phone camera may not be enough to captured the detail of the beauty. There is a lookout gift shop in the corner which has amazing lookout spot.overall, a must visit place!

Wonderful place to view the gorgeous scenery of the Pacific and possibly get a chance to see whales. The gift shop is small but interesting items and the older man that works or volunteers there is a delight. His stories on the history of the area and of the whales are terrific. I could have listened to him for hours.
