Love's Travel Stop, Boardman OR

Manager here at the service shop was great. I came in with an issue that was caused by another location and he handled it like his name was on the building. Thanks Mike

If you're in need for mechanical services, RUN! I have checked in for simple service, there where two other trucks ahead of me. No problem with waiting. Reading the sign above my head "three hour max for services. " Ten hours later still waiting, no phone call nothing. Checked the door, LOCKED! Whent into the Travel Center they said the Mechanic whent on a service call an hour ago. Didn't give an ETA back, there was No manager on duty. They
said there will be another mechanic come in at seven, four hours later. WoW, seriously horrible, piss poor service and communications.

This has become a regular stop for us when passing through the area. Clean facility and we like the fresh fruit food options. They have a small grass area to let the kids run

I sent this note into the corporate office:

Today at 2: 30 we attempted to stop to fuel at the Boardman OR location. I have to say the experience was TERRIBLE. When I attempted to pull in people were cutting in front of the line and there was no even flow with people actually going counter to the main flow. When I finally got to an island, there was a car at a pump with no driver or other person in it thus blocking me from pulling up to the island to fuel. I ended up being blocked by two other cars so I could not find another island that was open. When I finally was able to get through the blockage I found other cars at other islands who did not have a driver or passenger in them thus making them also unavailable.

Another complicating factor was RV's which pulled into the islands blocking all the pumps on an island.

And it did not appear there were enough attendants to pump the gas-since Boardman is in Oregon service station attendants do have to pump the gas.

I finally gave up and drove on to Kennewick where I stopped at Costco to fuel up. Costco was also congested but at least all the cars entered the same pumps from the same direction.

I seldom swear but I was real angry about the experience.

I think several things need to happen to correct my experience.

1) All vehicles should have been channeled to enter the pumps from the same direction. There should have been employees out there to keep the traffic flowing in the right direction-there was no one.

2) There should have been more attendants to handle the pumps.

3) No unattended cars should be allowed to stay at the pumps. If people want go into the store, they should be directed to move to a parking space in front of the store.

4. RV's and vehicles tolling trailers should have been directed to separate dedicated islands allowed the general pumps to be used by cars and pickups.

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with any gas station. I sometimes use a Love station out of Mt. Home ID and it can also get chaotic there as well. Which does suggest that Love should invest in making their stations more efficient for the general public.

I seriously doubt I attempt to use this station again.

Danny helped me out greatly today. Helped me find an air leak on my trailer in record time. Way over the top. Thanks Danny and malisa.

I used to go to the Pilot station down the highway when travelling across Oregon and need a cup of coffee. Then I stopped here, and they have the machines that grind and brew it fresh, so each cup is hot and made to order rather than sitting in a carafe all day. It will be my new coffee pit stop.

Clean and plenty of space for large rigs and haulers. Since it is rural Oregon, you can pump your own fuel.

We love Love's! Clean and friendly, fast service. Clean bathrooms of course, organized selection, everything a traveller could desire!

Carl's Junior fast, friendly service. Chicken strips were very good. Chicken Club was a little dry. Lots of seating. Family friendly

Good parking clean bathrooms and showers. Don't get the pita sandwiches however. Something is wrong with them I think

Good employees, clean restroom, and shower, all the Pumps are clean

Always clean facilities. Easy access to the interstate and lots of space to manuevor your vehicles. I stop here every time I travel between Portland and Spokane.

Nice clean Place good gas prices and the guy that was pumping fuel was a middle-aged guy who was really nice and friendly he even let me pump my own fuel you told me as of January 1st this County you can pump your own fuel

I love all the loves stores. I get great perk’s with my drivers card when I purchase fuel and other items.

By far, the best of any truck stops in the Northwest Region! Very friendly and professional staff! The lot is also the cleanest I've seen in quite some time as well. Showers are in much better condition than many others.
Five stars if there was a sit down restaurant on location other than just fast food.

Once again I got dried out food that wasn't worth eating.
The restrooms were clean
And the coffee wasn't really what I was looking for.

Just stopped in to grab a couple of things from the store. Staff was nice and store is clean. Parking lot still looks good.

I stop here frequently as my route is from Spokane to Eugene. The staff is always friendly and some even know me by name. They always have parking even during snow storms.

Carl’s Jr.gave us sombody else’s order and when we told he gave us the wrong order he just I’m sorry and gave back legit worst service and didn’t make burgers like they did on the picture

The people who work here are helpful and caring. The place is clean. And there is a lot of stuff you can spend money on. And there are flies. Lots of flies! Carl's jr has flavorless burger patties.
