Loving Hut Vegan Cuisine reviews
16Come here for some nostalgic sweet drinks! The orange joy was too good! The workers are so nice and the food is DELISH!
Loved their mapo tofu and Chowmein! The only bummer is no information on their website and shop to indicate there is no dine in
IMPORTANT NOTE: Loving Hut is takeout only! You need to pay for street parking, so don’t pay for longer than you order pick up. What gets me Is that the website doesn’t say takeout only and there’s a color at the bottom that says dine in. We ordered the golden rolls which were ok, I would’ve preferred a more robust sweet and sour dipping sauce. We also picked up the map of tofu and sweet and sour divine. The sweet-and-sour divine was meant to be like a sweet-and-sour chicken, but by the time we started eating it, it was kind of mushy.the mapo tofu was just ok.
Honestly, the best thing was the Mumbai Spirit tea. Chai tea, soy cream, and cinnamon. I might be tempted to go back for that. Overall, I would say I was disappointed.
I love this place I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school it’s still one of my favorite restaurants I mainly order through DoorDash now but I loved dining inside its simple but cozy the gentleman that works there is extremely kind he always gave us free rice cause we would eat so much of it with our food & we always left a big tip cause you just can’t get better customer service anywhere else! I’ll definitely be ordering from here for many many years to come.
We get takeout from here frequently and it's always great. Everyone we've recommended it to has also loved it. The hot and sour soup and noble broccoli are a must try.
I love the couple who owns/manages this place. They are polite, friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Few days ago, I ordered a pick-up order and was told it'd be 35 minutes. The restaurant called me apologizing that it would be about 15 minutes more than anticipated. I appreciated the call and communication through it all. The food is delicious and generous portions.
I've never been there in person, but I've ordered from Postmates a few times and absolutely love Loving Hut.:) I have a dairy allergy, and it's awesome to have somewhere to go where I don't have to worry about cross contamination at all!
I'm not vegan myself, but this place is a hit every time I've gone. It rivals a lot of non vegan Chinese food in my opinion. The owner is insanely nice and the food is one of my favorite binges. General Tsos divine, an order of Golden Rolls and a Mumbai Chai is something I'm always up for.
This place is SO yummy! This is a place we can take our friends, even if they aren't vegan and they absolutely love it.
The food is always delicious, the waiter is very nice, and the food comes out quick.
One of the best vegan chinese places I've ever been. Inomoni (Los Angeles), Lucky Creation (SF), Yuan Su (also in Portland). I love it. I can't believe I had never been here before. Tasty, healthy, a fine mix of good-for-you and junk-food-chinese. I want to go here every freaking week.
I LOVE this place! The food is amazing, the waitstaff is very nice and helpful, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for being a vegan restaurant. Go check it out for yourself!
If you are a plant powered person of any kind, loving hut is probably the place for you. It can be your cheap eats spot or your spot for pricier treats.
On the cheap we have soy steak and fries.
On the treat we have so much delicious, mouth watering food. My fav is the Save World Curry.
I will say, it uses a lot of seaweed protein. Some people like my partner can't taste anything but that. But most people I know don't notice anything but deliciousness.
Not only is the food here delicious, but the service is spectacular. Whenever I order pickup, if I arrive before my food is finished they always seat me with a bowl of soup (free of charge!) to sip on while I wait. I recommend the blissful fried rice and the noble broccoli (aka broccoli beef). Plus the portion sizes are great!?
I am flabbergasted at how their beef and shrimp taste like the real thing. In fact, I think they taste better than the real thing. The Mongolian beef was so good I very nearly went back the same day for dinner!
In addition, the service is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. Go ahead and read the other reviews to see how people rave about this place. I'm going to do my best to get back there every week!
Delicious, fresh, fun vegan versions of many Chinese-American dishes. Cheesecake was tasty! Prompt service and nice atmosphere.
Very friendly service and amazing food. The dishes/drinks were unique and they had some interesting fusion foods. The menu isn't huge but they have a good variety from Western to Indian to East Asian dishes and a good selection of desserts. I really recommend any of the appetizers
