Best Mexican place in the greater Medford area. If you have never had verduras (cactus pad base) vegetarian tacos, you need to try them.they are the best ever. Friendly speedy service in an enjoyable comfortable atmosphere.

Atmosphere was great. My tostada was only okay. I did swap out the refried beans for black beans but the tortilla was small and not crunchy. There were few onions. The flavor was bland on its own but better with added salsa.

This restaurant is a favorite of my parents and also has student menu deals. Other items are probably much better.

The most authentic Mexican food you can get in Medford outside of a taco truck. All the others are pretenders and pale by comparison. The ambience may be just so so. But the food is absolutely terrific.

Ate here the other night with my sister. The food arrived quickly and was delicious- I got the chile verde with hard taco shells, 100% recommend. The server in charge of our table was incredibly attentive and I could see them checking in on other tables around us frequently as well. We were seated in view of the entrance area, and could see that all the staff, not just the waiters/bussers were keeping busy. The kids working at the front answered phones, sat parties, collected payment, and were generally milling about the restaurant taking care of all sorts of stuff. All of the employees seemed to maintain a good balance between paying attention to customers and cleaning/restocking. When we went to pay for our food, the girl who helped us was super sweet. Very refreshing experience overall, between the fast, good food, attentive service, and pleasant small talk from the hostess. Could not recommend more!

Never received our 1 elote asado meal called store they just told me to reach out to you guys very this morning.

I came in to have dinner tonight and everything was fine until the two (im guessing teenagers) up front wouldnt stop talking very loudly about getting back at one of the adult hostesses for whatever reason they had. I couldnt concentrate on my meal because every minute or two when the other hostess left they would start going off about her.i understand disliking a coworker. But to make vague threats and cuss up a storm about them while they are standing 10 feet away from customers is totally unprofessional and frankly concerning. Ill give it a second chance because the food was exceptional. But that behavior was abhorrent. Totally unprofessional. If i were to speak lile that at my restauraunt even if it was in the back. I wouldnt be working there anymore. Let alone if i did it basically standing in front of a guests table. I would rethink the employment of those two. Extremely distracting. If i wanted swearing screaming teens at dinner. I would have eaten in!

This is now my fave! But it's in the wrong city! Too far from Seattle, Wa! I will definitely come by on my drive back home.

Greatest Mexican food in the valley, great staff as well, great place to bring everyone you know. My favorite.

Excellent salsa and chips. Loved the margarita.

Service was very good especially considering they were recovering from a party of 40 just as we came in and another group of 10 came in soon after. Good training and attention to customers leads to us feeling like we were still well taken care of.

Very friendly and intelligent service! Great bar for tequila and mescal, I mean phenomenal assortment. Great fresh food and housemade salsa. Order a Cadillac Margarita, you won’t be disappointed. The Carne Asada is spectacular!

Just went to Magueys in Medford for the first time after reading sone positive reviews. I thought it would be a nice treat after a long work week for my wife and I. We got there about 5: 10 pm. We were seated quickly. Salsa and chips were ready to eat. Salsa was pretty good. The waiter came to get our order very soon after we were seated. I ordered the Magueys enchiladas and my wife ordered the pollo taco salad. The food came out and I couldn't believe how small my enchiladas were. I've eaten all over the US and Mexico and I've never witnessed such miniscule portions for enchiladas. The refried beans and rice werent very good. Our waiter didn't check on us until the very end of the meal. I would give the enchiladas a 2/10. My wife had the taco salad with Pollo and she said it was decent at best. My advice is to give your hard earned money to some of the taco trucks in town. This place is severely lacking in professionalism and portion size.

They have some of my favorite food in the valley. Their barbacoa is sooo good I have a hard time trying other things.

We had a small birthday celebration. Food was good, but same menu as 80% of all Mexican restyrants in town. Nothing new here.
Service was very good, atmospher good.

Me and a friend had ordered the student burritos and a Shirley temple for the drink. She asked one of the waitresses if refills were free, the waitress said yes and gave her one. A few minutes later another waitress comes out and says it would be 3 dollars extra next time for the student meal we complied with no argument. We started laughing after a joke I said with no relation to the prior event and the waitress out of nowhere says “I’ll be taking this actually” and just leaves with the drink already sipped by my friend. I felt kinda insulted and embarrassed for something that was not our fault. We would’ve paid happily.

My husband and I ordered the taco platter, chicken, Carnitas, Barbacoa. Really really good. A bottle of beer was only three dollars, wonderful.after driving for hours from the Bay Area, this was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely recommend it to anybody who loves Mexican food. The service was really good.

Favorite Mexican Restaurant in town! I have enjoyed every meal here. The staff are all very nice and they are prompt, which I love. My kids ask to come here every week.

Almost inedible.the meat I had, had some kind of white stuff in it I don’t know if that was just fat but it made the taco shell very soggy. This is a key element when you’re doing take out you have to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’m paying the same price and I’m adding a tip so I need the quality there! The queso is ok…very thick but the flavor was good -
