Family like staff. DELICIOUS food. Large portions
Went back a few days ago and BOY has it changed. The prices went up, the pizza is gone, the $10 lunch special is gone. The $20 fettuccini did not come with a dinner salad, but it did come with cold bread. The pasta was dry, not nearly enough sauce. Took my out of town Mom, apologized the entire time.: (

The chicken cacciatore was one of the best things I've ever eaten!

This is a cute little Italian restaurant on a cute street in Independence. My wife and I stopped by while wine tasting in the area. It's very quaint. It's got the red and white checkered table cloths and everything.

Service was great. My food (the chicken cacciatore) was outstanding. My wife had a seafood fettuccine dish that she said was good, but she's had better. She tasted the cacciatore and agreed it was really good.

We also shared a tiramisu that we both agreed was very good.

I went with my mother and husband to dinner for my birthday. First started with are drink orders. My mother and myself had long island ice teas. Tasted like sweet and sour. I told the waitress. She had the audacity to come back with.well then you must have covid. At this point i just wanted to leave. But my mom really wanted to give it a shot. Okay. First on the way there i looked up the menu whivh has not been updated since they changed it. I ordered the chicken parm with pasta. Totally rubbery. We shared a caprese salad. Again.not that great. Not enough dressing. Needless to say! I didnt eat. And the bill was outrageous!

My fiance and I went here yesterday. I ordered Tortellini Di Zucca, costing a few cents under $21. The wait was so long we almost left. When our food came out the amount of food we got was incredibly small for the price. I had maybe 12 pieces of pasta which was very undercooked and barely any sauce. My fiancé's dish was similar. I could have made a better dish using Costco ingredients. There was NO salad or soup offered, which at that price, and such a small amount of pasta, you would expect. I also asked for chicken on mine and our waiter admitted he forgot. He offered us 1/2 a slice of tiramisu to take home. That was hilarious. Definitely don't go here if you want anything close to Italian food or a full meal. Make the trip into Alabany where they have an amazing Italian restaurant just after the bridge!

Have gotten take out from here many times and the food has always been extraordinary. But today we decided to eat in the restaurant and we may never eat there again after the awful experience. The service was slow and horrible. It was explained to us that our meals were slow to come out of the kitchen because take out orders take priority. We had to ask repeatedly for things because the waitress kept wandering off to do tasks such as organizing menus and forgetting our requests. When my husband was about 2/3 through his plate he found a large peice of twisted metal in his food. When this was brought to the waitresses attention, she shrugged and said she was the front of house manager and had nothing to do with the back of house. There was never an apology made as we were told we would have to wait to talk to the cook. When I spoke up about having to wait further after all the waiting we had to endure during our entire experience I was interrupted so she could make excuses for her poor service. All this was very disappointing because we have enjoyed the food here so much prior to this. We just don't think we can enjoy or support an establishment that is this careless with the food preparation or is this unconcerned with their customers regardless of how great the food tastes.

What a hidden gem! My new favorite lasagna isat Mangiare. The tomato sauce is so fresh & delicious, plenty of cheese, meat & perfect pasta. I started with a caprese salad, focaccia, and incredible meatballs, stolen from my daughter's equally phenomenal spaghetti. The chicken alfredo was terrific and tiramisu made it complete.
We sat on the patio and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

Food was absolutely delicious, husband had the chicken parm, terrific marinara sauce. I had the chicken gorganzola, tender and yummy, every piece of pasta covered in sauce. Ben made a yummy lemon drop. Great little find on a Sunday night.

Ordered two gluten-free pasta dishes. The person who input the order did not put them in as gluten free. I had to go back in and ask them to fix it. The was was good, but the portions were very small for the price. My husband and I were both still hungry after eating.

Great value Italian food. Love the focaccia and highly recommend the sausage based pastas.

I went in to order to go for my wife and my sever James was absolutely phenomenal. He was super kind and made my short time there perfect!

We really enjoyed our meal. The Cheese Tortellini di Zucca was amazing! But it took 30 minutes for our drink order to come out and 90 minutes for the food.: (They weren't slammed, but we only saw two servers and guessed maybe they have only one cook? More staff would translate to 5 stars.

Outdoor seating during the warm season gives this place a whole other vibe! The food never misses, I’ve tried all sorts of dishes here from pasta, sandwiches, soups, salads and you can’t go wrong with either. I’ve tried a few deserts and the chocolate lava cake was my fav by far. Drinks are decently priced and taste good

The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking situation can be tricky since it is street parking and depending on the day/time there will be traffic. Overall, great local spot for some pasta dishes.

This was a little slice of heaven. The food was very tasty and our wait staff was just the right amount of available.
