Mashita Teriyaki Restaurant, Stayton OR

Well we were passing through town, checked their review stars and it was 4.4. The reviews didn't really talk about the food so we thought we would give it a try.

I wish we would have kept going and found somewhere else.

Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, and my friend ordered Sushi. Well the SS chicken had no flavor, the sauce was some yellow looking stuff that came in a cup but it didn't have any flavor either. No vegetables except a little cabbage in the corner of the box. I didn't even finish my food. I ate the rice and threw the rest away.

My friend said the sushi was not rolled well, when she picked it up it completely fell apart. She also said it had no flavor. She got soy sauce and poured on it to give it something. She said the seeweed was rubbery also.

Only good thing was egg rolls that probably were pre-made not made here. Just my guess.

The food was very delicious, the lady at the counter was very pleasant with a nice smile, and my order was ready in a very reasonable time.

I would have never known, had I not had a conversation with another person regarding Japanese food that the restaurant was òpen-During the past 1 1/2 years, I have driven past this restaurant many times-thought it was closed.

The SAD presentation of the business building front is the appearance it is.shutdown-hopefully, the owner will give the front a REFRESHING

Walked out after they demanded I pay 2.25$ for a cup of TAP WATER with a full meal for sit down eating. There are sparce chairs but only counter service for assistance and ordering with one tiny menu taped to a table that you can't move. The place looked dirty, didn't smell like food and was completely empty on a Monday evening at 6: 15. I can see why. Went across the street for some Chinese and FREE H20. Won't be back to this establishment.

I came 45 min before closing and was told that all they are serving now is Sushi and no other food. Very disappointed that nothing besides Sushi was available in addition the cashier was not friendly at all.

If this was the first or only time I encountered bad service, I wouldn't have taken the time to write this, but its a negative experience each time I have visited. Each time the cashier is either rude, or staff is talking amongst themselves about another staff member or just ignores anyone waiting.

I gave it two stars only because the food is usually good, though they only still allow take out and no dine-in, which is odd.

I always support local first, but I won't return after consistently receiving bad service.

They do not stick to their posted business hours. Food is good. But there hours of service are not reliable and that is the ONLY reason they get 2 stars. If they didn’t close 30 minutes early today, I would have given them a 5 star…. Been coming here for almost 10 years.

Every time we call to put in an order 40-45 min prior to closing they don’t answer their phones. They must stop taking orders an hour before closing. Also bummer they have not opened up the seating for people to eat there. Makes it harder to enjoy especially for folks that live outside of town. We are done trying. My family will no longer order from here

Love the restaurant, came to town to eat and they are take out only still? There's absolutely no reason to be take out only still, everything around you is open. Pure laziness

Not happy tonight
Salad was thrown in with rest of meal. So it was soggy. Cabbage looked like it was 7 days old. Tasted like that way too. Hardly any chicken in the yakisoba meal. Asked for extra sauce. No sauce given.

Maybe if the front people would stop flirting they might have remembered it.
