Mattress World Northwest

We had a terrible experience with this branch manager. We recently moved to Oregon and went for mattress shopping in this store. We decided to go with a floor model of a mattress since a new one was going to take more than 2 weeks to be delivered. The manager (Mike Barley) offered us this option on it but failed to mention that this mattress cannot be exchanged at the point of the sale. He said check this for 30 days and come back for any exchange if this doesn’t work. Due to back pains we developed over the couple of weeks we used the mattress we decided to go for an exchange. Once we visited the showroom and explained the situation to the same manager very rudely said there is no possibility of exchanging floor models or even upgrading (for extra money) saying that it’s against the company policy. Maybe mention it the next time before the customer makes the purchase. He was very rude to us on this visit especially when we told him how we thought we might want to go for the ‘firm’ option instead of the medium that we initially purchased, we were told it’s just ‘more filling’ and nothing else and how we knew it would help our back pain. Please be mindful that you’re aware of what you are getting in to. We spent so much money and time only to end up with disappointment and back aches!

What a wonderful experience buying a mattress here. The store is beautifully layed out and has a great selection for every price range. I was allowed to wander around and try out everything and decided to buy a floor model bed for a great deal. Im very happy this place was here when i needed a mattress. They also have wonderful pillows to purchase and even massage chairs. Thank you mike for helping with my purchase.

Mike was such an amazing rep and really helped me find the exact right bed and help keep it affordable. Also working around my schedule for delivery. They had next day available which just floors me it was an option. So excited for my new tempurpedic breeze!

Mike Barley is the man who helped us make an informed choice of a new mattress. He was great. Very well informed, knowledgeable and Patient about all the mattresses he sells. We had his full attention and he guided and informed us of our options on mattresses BUT was not a high pressure salesperson. So we had a great buying experience because of Mike and we recommend him to any other people looking to purchase a mattress.
