McKercher Park reviews
16This is my favorite place to be. I don't really get in the water but the rocks are awesome!
Beautiful little park with river access. Places to wade for the kids and several holes to swim around in.
One of almighty God's wonderful gifts for us to enjoy. Each and everyone of us has a real job given by our Father the creator of all things good to be caretakers of this earth in which we could not exist without. I must say I am very impressed with everyone keeping this area so clean Thank you brothers and sisters most of all thank u father for all u provide for your children and thats in Jesus name
Probably the 1st best park that I've ever been in Oregon Go during the week when the crowd is low and you'll have it all to yourself it's absolutely breathtaking stay at night and use your App for mapping the stars and you'll be amazed
Nice little swim hole nestled between sweet home and Brownsville.
This quaint little spot is easily accessible and family friendly. Recommended for a hot Summer day when a cool off is needed.
Great place for swimming, brought my friends here last summer and we had a blast. A little crowded at times so get your spots early! The views are amazing and it’s just so beautiful! Water is a little too high this time of year so I am waiting for it to go down.
I love this place but its loaded with broken glass. Wear water shoes and be mindful. Though swimming with the large schools of trout and chilling in backwater with bass makes the experience amazing. Waterways, jumpable rocks and deep water. Also shallow family friendly spots.
I grew up in this area. Was there half the summer swimming and picnicking. Great place still.
There are 2 gas stations in the little town that I live in but only one has pretty much everything I need in one stop. Besides gas they have beer, ice, food and work gloves plus they are the only place for miles that has propane. The staff is the greatest very small town friendly. When you walk in everybody says Norm, well actually they say my name but you get what I'm go for right.
This is an awesome place to go in the summer when it's hot and you wanna jump in the river.theres usually a lot of people but it dies down toward late afternoon so if you like less people, come a little later
Has bathrooms. Couple trails down to water. Water is flowing fast so I don't recommend swimming, but fishing ok. Small park, bunch of tables, some broken. Nice place tho. Great for pictures.
Great little stop by the side of the road. It was so pretty I had to turn around. Wife and kid ate some lunch, while I took some long exposures down on the rocks. Nice trails down to the water, with some deteriorating picnic tables, and a bathroom. Worth the stop.
This was mine and my daughter's very first time going to this park we enjoyed it quite a lot it reminds us a lot of Mill Creek Park which happens to be her favorite so we had a great time the scenery was beautiful and we will definitely be going back
An average wayside stop. There is a park to stretch your legs and the access to the river is moderate to easy.
Beautiful little park!
Perfect for afternoon lunch. People there very nice!
Highly recommend for pre dusk meal.
I love this park, the swimming hole is so nice and secluded and the entire family can enjoy the swimming.
