McMenamins Boon's Treasury, Salem OR

Best part-atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. Food was good as well too. First time in one here in Salem.

We love all McMenamins places and their laidback atmosphere. There’s always at least one enjoyable ipa, the staff are friendly and gracious to our kids, and the food is good.

Tried the Vegan burger and it was great. Will bring my gf here next time were out so she can try the burger.

This is biased. I've been stopping at McMenamins since I was a kid. This one's the closest, it's kind of like my Cheer's, every regular patron is known by name. It's dim inside, the lights are pretty, and this is one of the few bars I eat at regularly since I can take any age there.

One of my favorite places for comfort food and atmosphere. It is so cozy at any and all McMenamins locations and the servers are always A+! I love the warm, inviting locations unlike many 5 star restaurants where I'm sooo cold and can't enjoy the food. I get so cold that I can't warm up until hours later at home. McMenamins is never like that. I'm warm with all of the cozy fireplaces abundant at all locations. This is like my second home!

We very much enjoyed our time at Boon's Treasury! The building is full of history and very charming, food (turkey jack sandwich with tots and beer cheeae potato soup) and beer was great, and Haisey took excellent care of us throughout our meal. We will be going back!

Love going to many of McMenamines brew pubs. Service is always good here and they have a really good IPA list to choose from. We never leave disappointed here.

McMenamins Boon's Treasury is a wonderful restaurant in Salem. They have indoor and outside seating, music, and a wonderful menu and beverage selection.

McMenamins Boon's Treasury has excellent customer service; our meal was perfectly prepared and served.

Do yourself a favor and give McMenamins Boon's Treasury a try; you will not be disappointed!

Our Hostess searched for a stamp for my passport that all other locations were claiming they didn't have. She found it, and I was able to get the Halloween Stamp! This Crazy Cat Lady and her Cow friends are so grateful to her for her enthusiasm and friendliness!

I've been to this location 6 times over about 20 years. I have never had good service or a good time at Boones Treasury. Usually, the staff have a nasty attitude.
The last time I went to Boones with my wife, we were served by very nice lady, and for the first time, I left Boones, not angry. I wish that I could put her name here.

Had a very relaxing time here yesterday, the food was unbelievable and the service top notch. I will be back!

Still a good selection of dishes and the usual quality of the ales. Particularly patient staff and the ambience like “back in the day”!

Awesome Mcmenamins charm in a cozy older building. Great place to hang and get food / drinks. Staff are awesome and responsive.

The outdoor seating was refreshing, the food was divine (burger recommended), and the woman who waited on us was an obvious pro. I could not be more satisfied

Back patio is nice for the doggies but traffic noice can interrupt conversations. Staff was fantastic.

Compared to other McMenamins locations this was probably one of the worst. The food options are limited and depressing. Do not order Cajun tots, they will not put the seasoning on it. Will not be coming back again unless needing a stamp and only to get a beer stamp. Not worth it.

I used to go here 40 years ago when i worked nearby. The place is the same now as it was then. But, it is in serious need of a renovation. I know it is a historic building but it could still be upgraded in a tastful manner.which the corporation can surely afford. It checks the boxes of a rustic dive bar but not so much in a good way. Serivce was OK, not great. Patio is pleasant and locaiton is handy. There are better options in Salem although not many, it is Salem after all.
