McMenamins Broadway Pub reviews
4We were out for a lovely lunch and decided to go to McMenamins on Broadway. We were seeded to a table that had not been sanatized. The hostess was very friendly. Yet the waiter seemed like he had better things to do and was very poorly dressed and looked rather filthy. He seemed to not care too much for his job position. After waiting for what seemed an eternity. When the food finally arrived, we were rather surprised to find that the meat was over cooked the buns were dry and seemed old. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the green side salad was ok at best. I would not recommend this establishment. We won’t be back. How disappointing…
Broadway is a go to spot for a few of us. We really like it there. Ok, McMenamins service is always a bit slow, but here's the deal. They are very pleasant & they aren't shoving you out the door in 15 minutes. It's relaxed. Food is not gourmet but it is good! Theyre helpful with gluten free ootions, too. Several of us looove their ciders. Tripey is a favourite!
If you want fast food, you're in the wrong place. If you want an enjoyable meal where you are allowed to kick back with a friend (or 4), all for a reasonable cost, enjoy!
The Mac and cheese was pretty barebones, less good than what you can make at home with a few extra ingredients, and the sandwich with our meal was similar quality. The fries were quite underdone. Nothing was terrible, but not good either, and really not worth what it costs for dinner for two.
I had their salmon tacos and a raspberry cheesecake. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is classic McMenamin's which I love.
