Worth the drive, we got there a bit before mid morning and it was only mildly busy but when we were leaving it was getting busier. The views are worth it and the building, as well as the history, is interesting. The building has 3 levels and there is an elevator for those who need accomodations. People were wearing their masks inside and out when we went.

Came for a retirement luncheon for a co-worker. There was about 20 of us. Food was great. Beer was great. The wait staff were awesome & friendly. Highly recommend.

This review is for the Black Rabbit Restaurant at Edgefield. Loved the food and historic grounds. In addition to the food one must check out the art scenes that circle the restaurant that covers the history of Edgefield from the beginnings as a place for those down on their luck where they could work on the farm, next to an “old folks home”, to today as a resort with just about everything. Thanks to McMenamins for keeping this place alive and thriving!

Overall, the place is fine and fun. The Ruby's Spa always seems to be booked up, so it limits spontaneous, full visits. Also, noise carries very easily, so, if you're a light sleeper.

However, front desk was super awesome about everything. Pub and Black Bunny Restaurant were solid/standard McMenamins. Book well in advance. Gift shop service was also awesome.

Not worth the price. No bathroom in room. Scary and smelly. But great Old fashioned at Power Station.

Lovely grounds. Outside fire. Wonderful soaking pool. Good time. Got some Christmas shopping done by as the gift shop.

This place is a lot of fun. Very interesting decor that makes you feel comfortable. Our room was gigantic and we felt like a king and queen in our chambers.
My favorite thing was spending time in the hot pool at night with cold rain falling on my face.

This course is a 9-20 hole Par-3, so you really only need three clubs: putter, pitching wedge, and a 9-iron. It's pretty much a course to work on your short game with some holes under 50 yards. There is nothing too spectacular about the course, and I wish there was easier access to the pub as you make your way around the course because having a beer or three as you play is kind of the point.

Just a fun short course to not take too seriously. And as far as I know, there's no strict dress-code.

Great locale.but, made reservations weeks in advance for a party of 10; found ourselves seated in two booths separated by Plexiglass and served by a self-righteous single mother of two who quoted OLCC protocol and tell-tale signs of intoxication.once again, mediocre service and meals with a hipster attitude. Bye McMenamins.done.

I have visited edgefield every year for the last 15 or 20 years once a year to have a beer and dinner and walk the grounds. I won't be doing that anymore. The pricing of your food and beverages has become ridiculous and I won't pay it. The grounds are still beautiful but I don't see them as a reason to visit or anything to pay for

I have been to McMenamins many times and its amazing. As always the property and everything was beautiful. Food and service wasn't that great this time but also understood how hard it must be to run a hotel with a service crushing pandemic going on. I would still definitely recommend and will be going back again!

While on the higher cost, the quality is excellent. Prompt and friendly staff. Varied and creative menu with fresh and unique ingredients.

Old building folks at front desk didn't seem to know what was going on at establishment when we asked about events.

I wish I lived closer this place is great. Fire pits outside, I lost count of how many bars on the premises. Awesome place to walk around and explore the grounds.

Honestly one of the most magical and relaxing places in earth. The staff are friendly, the food is incredible and the vibes are 10/10. We'll always be back for more of this psychedelic land cruise
