McMenamins Edgefield Winery & Tasting Room reviews
12Didn't stay. Wasn't feeling welcomed by the staff. I get the mask thing, but ask someone to wear the mask or show that they are vaccinated. Had both, mask and card.
They are always wonderful here. So polite and friendly. Very thankful for service during this time as well.
BEST most friendly customer service I have had in the area! I have been staying in this state for the last week and a half to visit my grandkids, and alot of places the service was terrible. This is a muyst go to place, and the music is a HUGE bonus. I have had a GREAT experience here and have been recommending it to others who are traveling this way. The servers will actually hold a meaningful conversation with you and make you feel genuinely taken care of. This made my trip that much better. I am a traveling nurse so I have been to alot of tasting rooms on my spair time during stays. This was by FAR one of the best. I had to write a review just to brag about how amazing it was!
Gorgeous day for a walk around the garden while waiting for a table. Theater and pool room open!
The food and the ranch were 10/10. We got the grilled cheese with fries and a side of ranch dressing (cause we are weird). The butternut squash grilled cheese was to die for. The ranch was the best I have ever had (it's a must and you can buy the powder mix in the gift shop). I was not a huge fine of the pinot noir, but I liked the Columbia Valley Merlot/Cab-sav mix. The chai/apple whiskey was also incredible.
As a wine club member I can tell you that it's always a great place to visit. They are even still trying during this covid-19
I love this place for outside experience, but with covid19, the prices have all give way up on food and drink. But they're doing the best they can with the circumstances I guess.
Great place to go have some socially distant beers outside. Staff is nice, the grounds are well maintained, and the beer flows everywhere. Great place to spend a day with friends
Really fun, relaxing place to walk around, enjoy a meal or just to have a drink or two. Edgefield features a hotel, spa with soaking pool, several restaurants and bars. It's a hotel with several acres of gardens and even a small golf course. Our most recent trip we saw humming birds and even a red tailed hawk on the grounds.
I'm giving it 2 stars because it's the Edgefield, and it's a very cool place to hang out. BUT, maybe it's the covid effect I don't know. We (2) sat down and had a sandwich for lunch 1 cider and a lemonade. $52 with tip! $18 Reuben! I know, didn't have to buy it, but we wanted to go out to lunch. Believe me, we will find somewhere else next time. We love going there in the summertime and having some beer's, but we will eat before we go. I'm disappointed at the price hikes. The food is good, but not that good
Unbelievably priced wine tasting and bottles to buy. Great food snacks at bar and wine tasting. Building has amazing history and eclectic. Very friendly staff
The food at the Power Station was great. We had the fish and chips and I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere of Edgefield is also always a +
