Medford Black Bear Diner

**WARNING** Black Bear Diner billed me FOUR times for a web order which never made it to the local restaurant. Instead of having breakfast with my family, I got to spend the morning listening to automated phone systems and ultimately had to dispute the charges and start a bank investigation to maybe get my money back in 30 days. Poorly designed web interface and exceptionally poor customer service from bbd.

Food is good. Staff is extremely rude. Cant tell you an estimated wait time on a to go order. Very sad with the service at this location.

The menu is covered with so many choices. I'm a big 'eater' and I could hardly finish my breakfast. Food was hot and timely. Wait staff professional and attentive. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice place, food is great along with large portions. The prices are in line. A great country type restaurant. A nice place for all.

I always enjoy going here whether it's for lunch or breakfast sometimes dinner I always find myself please with my order and price range I get a great amount for the price and service is always wonderful I find no complaints with anyone there. This is always my go-to in the morning or showing people who are new to Medford

The Black Bear Diner has become our favorite restaurant. Great staff, great service.the food is fresh and plentiful.

Service was friendly, quantity of food matched quality of food. We were in a group of 8 & made no reservation, yet we were seated in a timely fashion, drink orders were taken & food orders in almost perfect timing. Our food was served within a reasonable time frame & our waitress was helpful & attentive. I would've given 5 stars if straws were left with our sodas automatically & if extra plates were given after I mentioned 2 kids would be splitting up their meals. Either way, it was affordable, friendly, delicious & fun.)

I first visited a Black Bear Diner in Bend around "the turn of the century. " Famished with my camping pals, we delighted in large portions of traditional breakfast food at reasonable prices. A recent trip to the Medford location confirms that formula is still alive and well. They've even kept up with trends and added avocado toast to the menu.

The portions are definitely generous. They do have a section for smaller appetites. I also tried the steak and that was delicious.

Same good quality food you expect at Black Bear. Really nice gift shop and display for that, festive Christmas decorations for the time of year and clean. Wasn't very busy and we were neglected. The servers didn't fill/offer to fill our coffee and they didn't check in on us very often. Asked for ranch for my daughter's fries, waitress came back 20 minutes later with no ranch or offer of coffee refill and both mine and my fiance's cups we're empty. Had to chase down the waiters or go to the station to actually get someone. Good hot sauce and we bought some to take home for stocking stuffers. I hope I get better service if I decide to stop there again.

Medford, Cristmas day, called in a pickup order, picked it up 17 min later, 15 min drive home and the canned (seriously?) green beans were very cold, $18.99 cost, prime rib was slightly warm, was not medium rare as specified, extremely over cooked and grainy, gravy on potatoes tasted like a boxed pre-mix, overall it tasted like a microwave dinner. The bread pudding was the best, the apple pie was undercooked and cold. The portions were small. This is not the Black Bear I remember, will not go back.

Went in for our anniversary dinner and was not disappointed some of the best staff I have ever seen they were kind courteous

The three of us had a nice meal. I had the fish fry. The flavor was good, and it was not heavily breaded. The other two had steak, and neither complained, and all of us left full!

We stopped in for lunch. Very clean and the bear carvings and window art were fun to look at. Food was higher end diner quality. We'd go back.

The atmosphere was very positive the food is always amazing fast and friendly service highly recommend

It was really good I recommend the bobs big bear burger (If you vould eat it all) I would also recommend going when you have a huge appetite as, they like to do it big!

Our server was GREAT! My food however had a few issues. My "cowboy" omelette was supposed to have grilled onions but they were raw. And they brought the wrong kind of potatoes. They did bring me another full plate and the omelette was good but the hash browns were dry and a bit burnt.

Great diner! Pleasant staff - Becky was a great waitress. The food was very good, the portions huge.will definitely try other Black bear diners.

Service is good. The prices are pretty average for a diner but the portions are huge and the food is fresh.

Very friendly and service oriented. Left my cellphone on the table and they mailed it to quickly. I offered to pay but they wouldn’t let me. You have to admire that.
