Great for nail trims by appointment, and the cats boarding here look well loved and have enriching space

Despite all the good reviews we actually had unpleasant experience with them. We will not return. At the first we went for a tour and noticed that some cubbies are insanely stinky. Like crazily smelly. The facility looks clean so it was very puzzled for us how come some cubbies are smelly like that. In hindsight that might be a signal for a poorly managed cat boarding place.

Other places were not available so we ended up still going with them to give a try. When checked in with them, we were told the room (garden room) we reserved is not available due to maintenance started few days ago. They didn’t tell us about this beforehand. It felt sketchy. They moved us to one the regular cubbies.

The cubbies are ok. They also have a “bird space” on the back of the cubbies that allows cats to watch. We thought that’s a good idea until we actually saw how birds live there. It was essentially a big cage for birds with very little natural light, and constantly living in fear. (See pictures for reference)

We opted in for daily updates with extra fee and we were told they don’t do updates on weekends (?) This is odd given that they do have staffs on site on weekends. Not sure why they don’t do updates.
Throughout the boarding period they sent updates via email with short paragraphs and one or two pictures. Some updates are more details, some just have one picture and a short paragraph. We wish the format of updates could have been more consistent. They also forgot to send me an update on the last day.: (

When we go pick up my cat, we noticed that she has been sitting in her own pee — now dried out pee — for days. We were shocked that they didn’t tell us about this, or just didn’t check in general. My cat was also very frightened as the whole environment is loud (people walking, staff working, birds on the back etc).

The staffs look very burnt out as well.

The whole experience is unpleasant and we will not return.

Suggestion for the business:
• double down on cleaning
• check cat tenants more frequently. Sitting in pee is not acceptable.
• provide consistent, detailed updates
• would be good to hire more people

Their web site is broken, they don't respond to emails, they don't answer the phone and their voicemail box is full. I stopped by and they appeared to be out of business.

The facility is top notch. Great staff. They genuinely care about the cats. I feel extremely comfortable leaving my cats here. The reservation process is a little quirky but that’s the only downside. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at Meowhaus boarding my kitty for a week while on vacation. I'd never boarded her before but the staff made me feel very at ease during check-in and I really felt like my cat had a good time here! The rooms are so cute and accommodating and I loved that we got a detailed paper of notes about her stay. We had forgotten a couple of items during pick-up but Meowhaus called right away to tell us and set them aside carefully for us to grab later. Appreciate this business so much, highly recommend anyone to board their cats here, I had such peace of mind <3

We have been taking our cat here for over a year now when we go on trips and I feel such a sense of relief knowing Anya and her team are looking after our baby. The rooms are always clean and I know she is getting one on one attention and being let out to explore. We also appreciate the picture updates (a little more $, but worth it).

Great place to take your cats when you go on vacation! There are a few adorable things about this place we love - the attention that cats can get (nails trimmed!), email updates with photos, and the unique bird watching opportunity during their stay.

Meowhaus took such great care of my kitty while we were out of town. The rooms for the cats are a good size, and have plenty of perches and comfy places to lounge. We got a great update with how she was doing, along with some cute shots of her watching the birds. Meowhaus was super responsive, friendly, and clearly cares about the wellbeing of their furry clients. So glad to have found this boarding house!

These folx really love what they do. And, they do it very well! Mr Mann is coming out of his shell progressively more and more with each visit. This recent stay he allowed tummy rubs! I don't even dare to go there myself.since he's my partner's fur baby.

I took my cat here when he was a kitten for a weekend away and it was fine. He’s 2 now and we took him for our week long Christmas vacation. When we picked him up his paws were dirty, he was dirty and he weighed about 2lbs less.to be fair he’s not very into being boarded.so we won’t be boarding him again in general (going to try rover). What concerns me is that when we picked him up we were told he was eating “most” of his food. When we got home it was obvious he was very sick. When we were unpacking I noticed they left a paper in his bag tracking his food and water intake and how often he was using his litter box. He had gone almost the entire week eating basically nothing and went days without using the litter box and they didn’t tell me. He also was sneezing very badly and was very scared and also lethargic. Boarding him cost us over 200 dollars, and then another 175 for an emergency room visit right after getting him. Also it’s annoying that you get charged extra for Sunday pick up, as that’s a common day to return home from traveling. I feel bad leaving a bad review bc the staff was very nice, and even cleaned his carrier for us that he anxiety peed and pooped in on his way there. I get that a lot of this just had to do with cat anxiety, but I wish they had told me he was doing so poorly instead of just slipping a paper in my bag documenting that he hadn’t eaten.
