Plumber seemed like a good kid. Price was absolutely insane. I figured the mandatory $89 charge would cover the diagnosis for a slow cold water valve on clawfoot tub. Took him about 20 minutes to take off the pipe after the shutoff to hook up a hose and see the water still ran slow, so problem is at shutoff valve or elsewhere.

Charged me $265 for this diagnosis. Offered for another $335 on top of that to replace the shutoff valve with a $4.25 part.

I ordered the matching parts instead for $60 and will do myself. It took my under 30 minutes to do the 2 downstairs. I figured this was the problem anyway but have so many projects going on here with a deadline thought this would be a simple, quick, and cheap fix for a plumber with plumbing experience.

Guess not. Shutoff valves are apparently a difficult thing for Meticulous to replace. Do it yourself.

Oh and they only applied $50 of the $89 to this anyway, not sure why.

This is my 2nd time using Meticulous Plumbing. The plumber was John, a professional and friendly guy. He fixed my kitchen sink drain in record time. I'm all thumbs when it comes to plumbing but I give him and the fine folks at Meticulous Plumbing two thumbs up! Thanks John.

Meticuluous was referred by another plumbing company that was unable or uninterested. The schedule for a new roof accelerated and left me with a narrow window for determining if a sewer pipe vent could be moved during the roofing project to avoid interference with future solar panel placement. They came out right away for the consultation and were able to arrange to do the job on the same call to allow the roofers to start on schedule the next day. They also suggested a solution that simplified the venting so no coordination was necessary with the roofing company. I have no idea yet about the quality of the work and I had no time to comparison shop. It was a small project that Meticulous kept small and simple, and completed immediately, which was of great value to me.

This was not a good experience for us. Estimates for “maybe” a fix were way higher than things we could fix on our own. Started with highest cost fix rather than lets figure it out. Nice people, great communication.

We recently had a leaking hose bib with stripped inner threads, and Meticulous Plumbing was able to schedule someone two days later to replace it. The technician John was right on time, assessed things quickly, provided potential options and quotes, and took care of the bib replacement quickly and professionally. The cost was on spec with what we anticipated and was worth every penny due to the stellar service! We highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing for your next plumbing repair or project!

Adding to existing review: John was here this morning to fix a garbage disposal that met it's maker. As before, this was another stellar visit. On time, identified the problem quickly, explained the solution and the cost to get the work done, was prepared with all the supplies needed, and went to work. Cleaned up the area after he was finished, went over what he did, and asked if I had any questions. The cost was reasonable, John was friendly and clear in his explanations. Overall, another very satisfying experience. If I need future plumbing work, these are the people I will be calling.

I can't say enough good things about the exceptional service Josh and his colleague provided on their visit to my home. There were two faucets in bathrooms to replace, a rocking toilet they steadied, and moved an outdoor faucet over a couple of feet from it's old location. A fixed price was quoted for these tasks that was fair and within the range I expected after they covered the options available. Josh and his colleague started their work promptly, worked steadily, explained what they were doing clearly and why, and cleaned work areas well after completing the work. I really appreciate the willingness of the two men to mask up while in the house, and their consideration for the one cat who eluded capture to put in a room away from the activity, taking care to close the door to the room she was in while working in the area. The work was easy to schedule and the office staff make sure I knew who was arriving and when. Josh and his colleague were friendly, willing to explain their work, showed up with the right equipment and tools to do the work, walked through all that had been done afterwards to make sure I was satisfied, and explained clearly what I needed to do afterwards. The entire process from beginning to end was great. I look for companies with Angi's List Super Service awards when deciding which companies to contact, and Meticulous Plumbing's service didn't disappoint. I will definitely use them again if I have any plumbing needs.

Another way to say the same thing: if you need
plumbing work and you don't call Meticulous
you will kick yourself.

John is a master - honest, efficient, and experienced. I now have smoothly functioning
faucets for every sink and an up to date and
dependable shower, to replace the 60-yr. -old
historical artifact.
And his choice of apprentice sped up the work
considerably.

John arrived promptly, looked everything over,
and gave me a detailed assessment of the work which needed to be done. 2 of the 3 repairs will be done within the week, and I'll have time to consider my options on the larger
3rd one. As always, "Meticulous" says it all.

So incredibly thankful for Meticulous Plumbing. Whenever you have a main water line breech between the meter and your house, its never good. Seth and Alan showed up precisely on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, were amazingly professional and even repaired the problem the same day. I have been using Meticulous for years for everything from an emergency main repair to faucet installation and can't recommend them enough. Seth was here today to install a new spigot and he and his apprentice were professional and knowledgeable, and kept me apprised of everything. Every detail was addressed, even advising me on how to winterize it come winter. Thanks guys!

My guy Seth was a pro, he figured out what was going on, put in a fix, and helped me figure out next steps.

He even had to deliver bad news about one of the parts in our shower. He was professional and offered suggestions on how to proceed. He also hung out for 10 minutes after my phone silenced our doorbell and I missed him showing up, but was super nice about it and we got it done.

One thing that I don't personally mind but which is worth noting: they have insisted twice now that I order my own parts but that they'll happily install it for me. This may be standard, I don't know, and maybe if I pushed they would order parts for me, but that's something to be aware of.

Still, great service and I recommend them.
