After another company screwed me over and refused to help with my computer. I called these guys asking if they could help. They asked me to come in and see if it could be done. I brought it in and they were nothing but helpful! They walked me through exactly what they were going to do and throughout the process they let me know everything that needed to be known! Our experience with their company is deep and extensive. We – I and my wife, two offices and two personal accounts, both PC and Mac – go back over ten years. We have used their services many, many times both for our two offices and for all our computers at home, both in-person setups and remote tweaks. We first learned about MCW from Dell, when we bought about 4 computers to set up an office, and Dell recommended Gene Gratton, and we kept going back.

Neither of us are “computer people”, nor techies. We have found Gene’s work to be comprehensible, transparent, and done in a way that we can understand what was done, and we can use it. He is accustomed to working with sensitive and protected information, and in over ten years we have never had occasion to doubt his integrity or confidentiality.

Though we have generally managed to avoid emergent problems, in the rare instances in which we have had a time-sensitive issue, he has always managed to keep us in business.

I have no adverse comments. And for the record, we have no conflicts of interest, real or apparent, in making such a positive review.

Two tiny torx screws on my laptop had gone missing and I was having a lot of trouble finding replacements. Took it here and problem solved on the spot. I am super appreciative and will definitely be a return customer.

Had a great experience at this shop. Very friendly and helpful. Came in for a troubleshooting issue, and got some really useful info. Wasn’t able to address the problem because of a short time frame on my end, but had that not been the case I would’ve definitely enlisted their services. The owner didn’t charge me for the time/help, and overall I’m really glad stopped in. Highly recommend, great service.

My laptop screen/hinge area was barely hanging on and this place repaired it perfectly. I took it to a couple other locations beforehand that quoted me around $500 and 4-6 weeks repair time. It was $365 here and was fixed within 1 week. I hope I don’t have any more issues, but if I do I will absolutely bring it back here.

I have been going to Metro Computerworks for a while getting custom PCs build. This last time around, Gene took on the project of updating the GPU on my custom PC. After running into hurdles related to the GPU and PC configuration, Gene never gave up! After researching and consultation with other techs, Gene came up with a solution and completed the project to his high standards.
