Bill Is a great manager
Had contact with owner and a confirmation to move my items Wednesday morning at 9am. Almost an hour later an no one showed up or called. I called every number they had listed to ask if they were still coming and no answer or returned call. Now after taking the day off from work for this, I’m scrambling to find a new moving company. I definitely won’t recommend this company. Not reliable and non responsive.
Communicative. Called an hour ahead to.go over the move putting our minds at ease that they were going to show up. Were polite, fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend!
I have been working with this company several times.and this time which is 12/31/2021, when they were delivering equipment one of the staff member was in the house and see the family phone in the table grab and went out side to their track.when he went to the track the first thing he did was turning off the ringer when we call the phone it was already switched off, then we start looking trough find my phone app, we find in his hand while he was try to scape with out finishing his work as well. Also there were one of his partner was looking for the phone with out knowing his partner was hiding. Please people watch out who is coming to your home,
this is one bad apple.
Great experience with Metro Moving. After another moving company didn’t hold our spot, we were in a pinch to move our 4 BDR house locally. Called Bill on Saturday and he committed 2 movers for Wednesday 9AM. I called on Tuesday concerned we needed more movers (you always have more stuff than you think!), and he said no problem - I’ll get you one more guy and if I find a fourth I won’t charge you more. A crew of 4 showed up Wednesday at 8: 50AM. Perfect timing. The crew and lead were nice, respectful and hard workers. No dings or broken things either.
The movers came two hours late, charged us a much higher rate than what was quoted, and broke a piece of our furniture.
Literally everything you fear happening when you hire movers happened.
The movers themselves were friendly, and the father and son team were so nice, which is why I hate to leave such a negative review.
The owner is a liar and doesn’t want to work things out to our satisfaction.
