Milwaukie Cafe and Bottle Shop reviews
14 Bus your own table, pay a lot for a breakfast biscuit and sit A$$ to elbows with other customers.
Food is good, but for some reason, they're only open until 2.
Staff was very nice.
The food is always amazing. Spicy Chai is out of this world. My girls LOVE the caramel lattes. I just wish I could get there early enough to get monkey bread, lol.
Hands down the best biscuit sandwiches in the area. My husband and I have been coming here for years and bring everyone here for breakfast. The polenta bowls are also great but I definitely prefer the biscuits. Have had most all the biscuit sandwiches but my favorite is the sausage with grape jelly or bacon and egg. Monkey bread was divine as well.
I stumbled in here needing a midday snack and had no idea what I was walking into. Now I am obsessed with going back.
Service was great and the food blew me away, in both taste, quality, and quantity.
Don't go here. It's really terrible, I don't want company ;) For real, awesome food. Wait times can be on the long side, but food is always worth it, especially the specials. The butternut squash polenta bowl with curry is the current favorite.
Horrible service, had to wait half an hour for a cafe sandwich because they forgot my order and then acted like it was my fault and were incredibly rude about it. Food was mediocre and overpriced, and the service just made it worse.
I would give this place a 5 if they could consistently have their baked goods available. Some days they have loads, some days nothing. Their coffee is good, their food is even better!
I had heard this was a good place to eat for years. Even my vegan and gluten-free friends enjoy this cafe. Finally tried it for myself and can now see why there was always a line for pick up during the pandemic. Had the barbecue chicken polenta bowl and was very impressed. Already returned for another and will be back. The coffee was delicious too.
Been there twice with different groups of people and we were all impressed both times. Only sorry we didn’t try it sooner.
Wonderful Atmosphere with a good variety. The biscuits were the best we've ever had and will definitely be coming back for more. It's and upscale Breakfast Cafe without the upscale price. Delicious!
We and many others love this little place. Great service. I would eat the bacon cheddar polenta everyday for breakfast if I could.
It has been twice now, that I went to Milwaukie Cafe. And, twice, I experienced deliciousness and kind service. It is #1 in my book! They will be seeing me again.
I've been curious about this place and finally stopped. So glad I did. Great menu with handmade ingredients. I'll be back for a full breakfast for sure.
Biscuits were divine - the perfect blend of flaky yet moist, with a nice crisp crust.
The bacon onion jam had nice meaty bacon chunks, and the Marion berry jam was tart and not overly sweet.
Will definitely be back again.
Everything was so good. We were visiting from WI and we ate breakfast here every day. I'll go again when we come back.
