Minto-Brown Island Park reviews
13Such a beautiful park. We hike, play, and ride our electric scooters here, plus picnic. We even rode our scooters over to river front park from here. And our dog loves it too of course.
My favorite place to see nature and get a good relaxing 5+ mile walk in! There are 3 parking lots w/ porta potty's. A big dog run next to the 2nd lot. Lots of offshoot paths from the paved trail. I see bunnies, eagles, blue herons, ducks, snakes, voles, otters, chipmunks, squirrels, butterflies, berries, fruit treats, nut trees. There's a fishing dock near parking lot #1 pond. The main path is completely paved.
Lots of good dogs, no crackheads roaming about, and good spots to fish if you're into that sort.
Wayyy too many people, always packed. This felt more like the park for 'yuppies' (for lack of better terms).
Best park in the area for me and my family. Great trails, loving dogs, and lots of nature. Highly recommend! Been coming here for years
Great place to go and walk with friends. I don't recommend going alone. They also have a dog park for those with dogs.
It's absolutely lovely as far as a somewhat measured hiking path goes, however a decent chunk of the path should have more shading trees as well as shade for the benches. What's the point of rest benches that sit in the heat all day and scorch your tushie?
Great place to ride bikes and walk. Miles of paved and unpaved trials. Has a large off leash dog park section for Fido. Sometimes, it gets flooded, especially in winter, which closes off accessibility.
Just south and connected to Minto Island Park is Eola Bend County Park. Eola Bend is quieter with fewer facilities. No paved paths and no bathrooms, but plenty of solitide.
Excellent peaceful beautiful setting park unfortunately, the city has neglected the handicap accessible areas along the water access areas. Otherwise the park is an excellent park still and great for families.
Paved trails, other unpaved trails. Walk far enough in the opposite direction from the bridge and you'll enter Eola park, also lovely.
I love this place! It has so much to offer, and the setting is so peaceful. Even though it's right outside of town, you feel like you're miles from the city. There's long trails to walk, jog, or bike on, a huge field for dogs to play, a playground for kids, and bathrooms (porta potties) throughout the park. There's picnic tables by the playground, and benches along the trails. I've been to this park many times, and I still feel like I discover something new every time I come here.
I love this park for walking trails! But they also have a big dog park area which is nice.
My family and I visit this park frequently. We search for agates each time we go. You would be amazed at how many we find.
