MOD Pizza, Oregon City OR

Came in on 1/4/24 around 8pm and only bought some no name cakes and the girl who helped me was super sweet. I got pizza from here a week before I got the cakes and it was also yummy

The food at this Mod is just like all the others. However, this review is specific to the staff.

We came in and it wasn't busy, but the customer in front of us was making a significant sized order. There was only one young lady at the pizza station. There were three other Zennials (not trying to be derogatory, just specifying the age group) that were "engaged" in other tasks. One was handling the oven (again, not too busy) one was folding boxes (taking for-ever on each box) and one was in and out of the kitchen (not really sure what she was up to).

When it came time to prepare our order, they were put of pressed crust and the young lady making pizzas had to then press out the doughs with none of the other staff paying any attention to what was going on at the counter. They seemed to be engaged with each other and enjoying conversation more than working.

When we were finished, there was no place to put our garbage because the can was overflowing. Trash was mounded up in the container and was spilling onto the floor. Guess who had to clean it up? Our pizza maker; the only one there that seemed to have a nose to the grindstone.

Having spent time as a service worker, I can tell you that there was no excuse for the young lady to be handling all that she was doing without any assistance. If there is no dough pressed, boxes can wait. If there are not 10 pizzas in the oven, you don't need to handcuffed to the peel. If there are not dozens of customers dining in, there should not be 20 gallons of trash, certainly not spilling onto the floor.

It was a sad site of affairs to see. If I had to guess, I would say that there was some clique dynamics going on and the cool kids were too cool for school, and the outcast was left to deal with the work.

I dont know whats up with this mod pizza but its just really strange. My family ordered a pizza at 6: 30, we can in 4 mins early and they told us it wasn't ready. Which is perfectly fine, as we expected. It was 6: 45, still haven’t gotten our food, went ip to ask if it was even close to done and all they said was “We have a ton of online orders so you will have to wait. ” But the weirdest thing was no one even comes here to pick it up, like theres no orders on the shelf. But on their papers it looked like there were 10+ orders. We waited there for more than 30 mins to get our food. And for the “online orders” no one even came to pick them up. It was like the orders are fake or something. I have no idea how this place even has close to 4 or more stars. Wont be going back here again

I used to work at this location and hadn't been in, in a long time. Standards must have went down hill. When I walked in none of the employees said a word to me. It used to be we yelled welcome in! There were two people in front of me and one person making pizzas while the other 4 or 5 employees I guess worked on to go orders or seemed to be new with no one helping guide them. I almost left because it was taking a while and not one person could even acknowledge my presences by saying hi or we will be right with you, or even smile but decided to go ahead and wait. One customer who was waiting the whole time I was there finally came up and asked if his order was still being made. The girl handing out finished orders told him "it's probably over there" "we call the names out when they're done" and then made a remark about it not being their fault if people don't hear. She was really sarcastic and rude. She asked me if I had an online order and I said no. I continued to wait then she started talking and seemed annoyed and I had to ask if the pizzas she had were mine. I regret not leaving when I had the chance. I won't be going back to this location. $25 for two mod pizzas and left feeling like my business to them was more of an annoyance.

Came in and no one was here.the lady in charge tells me. "hey we're actually slammed with online orders and short staffed". "we can't handle it so you will have to wait". I was like.dude Iwas thinking I just got here and have sad nothing yet.how is that a way to greet anyone? !? There was no one here when I got here and no one came in. Where were the orders? Also it's super cold.like uncomfortable. Won't come back and don't recommend. I'll drive a bit for another location.

It's not the best customer service. The dough was thin and manipulated to be round, I was watching them. They look at their watch phone and not care about anything but their drink and phone. So I won't be back. MOD is disappointing more and more. Very skimpy on the toppings when you even ask for addition toppings. I understand shrinkage, but you should still be able to get a few more pepperoni. Again, it was disappointing, and the staff was not friendly, apparently laughing at me and a disables person waiting in line. Sad but true.

Had to clean my own table as workers sat and watched, floors looked like they had not been cleaned in at least a week. Glass counter were very dusty. Food was good but I will go somewhere else next time

Ordered online and it said 75 minutes which I thought was long but I did order at 4 so I didn't mind. I showed up early just to see if maybe the online time was wrong. I understood when I came in why it was that long. They were understaffed and hosting a large party with a different large party carryout order. The staff was friendly even with all chaos. I even got a free drink for waiting patiently which was very nice. I'm sure I'll be back.

I was having a terrible day, came in to pick up my order and without any prompting the gentleman working waived the cost of my pizza. That gesture really meant a lot. This is really a stand up place. Highly recommend for fast, quality, and genuine service.and the absolutely delicious pizza. Definitely give it a try! This is the kind of place you'll want to visit again, I know I will be.

Last time I was there it was no good. The pizza was poorly made. The girl making them left in the middle of helping us leaving one guy in the place to do everything. I felt so bad for him. But he kept an amazing attitude and was so nice. He kept apologizing. It was very cold in the place.

Stood in line to order for over 10 mins (3 people in front of us) while workers printed out online orders and worked on them. When it was finally our turn we stepped up to the counter for the guy to glance up and then continue messing with the slips for online orders. No acknowledgment or hello or anything. Anyone versed in customer service knows that a simple “I’ll be with you in a minute” goes a long way toward people waiting longer. But in no was was this place staffed well enough at dinner time nor are their employees good at customer service. It’s too bad because it’s some of our favorite pizza but this really sours our experience and we likely won’t be back anytime soon.

Ordered our pizzas at 5 and had a 530 ready time. Came in at 535. Said it would be 15min. Now it’s 601 and still no pizza. Weird thing is there isn’t anyone in the restaurant. Probably won’t be making it back to this location. UPDATE- I’ve been waiting in this restaurant for over 30 minutes now. Still no pizza. Still very little customers in the restaurant.

I am a driver. The kids that work at this place are trying so hard, especially Garret but they are seriously understaffed. Giv3 him a raise. Pay more. Get more help. This franchise could be making so much more money if they had adequate staff. Whoever is managing this place should be replaced. The product is good.

Please for the love of god put more staff on the floor. 3 employees (one being brand new) in a Saturday night is setting your employees up for failure. They’re trying hard but obviously they can’t keep up with a Saturday night dinner rush. You have a lobby of very grumpy rude old people because you wouldn’t let enough staff work at once

I do food delivery and this staff is absolutely the rudest I’ve seen. Very unprofessional and absolutely low life workers. Especially the guy with all the pins and wears the gay pride shirts. That dude is ridiculously rude and very self entitled thinking he can talk to anyone any way he wants. But when the lady comes in either boss or owner he completely two faces and acts like he’s the nicest guy. Im never spending my money there ever and I’m also informing my customers of what happens there. I actually filmed the rude encounters on my phone and showed them. Screw that place.
