Maurice checked us in and explained that he would first work with me, and then my sister to create our plates. He cut a lot of my pieces without asking what colors I wanted, which I was okay with and instructed me exactly where to put the pieces. When I got to a point where I could work on my own, he did not help my sister as he said so I tried the best I could as she had a more difficult pattern to compose. We left frustrated and felt we needed to say something to the owner when we came to pick up the pieces the next day. I did say that my sister was struggling with the class and did not get the best experience. I was shocked when Maurice called me to chastise me for saying something about the bad experience and even accused me of telling customers that he hated my sister. He said it was hurting the reputation of his shop. He's doing a fine job of that on his own with his controlling, condescending attitude and poor customer service. I finally hung up on him when he said he was recording the conversation, saying he would contact his lawyer if I returned to the shop. This is what kills yours business. We loved our pieces, the staff not so much.

This is a great place to go to make some beautiful glass pieces. We have gone several times and have many pieces in our home

We originally had a group of 8 scheduled, but ended up with 3. Mauricio and help were so gracious even when I failed to notify of our change in party guests. They helped each one of us with our pieces, and walked us through how to create a lovely art piece. I definitely plan to come back. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.

Where to begin… I am absolutely appalled at the disrespectful, condescending, and rude nature of the staff. The owner was incredibly frustrating and controlling. He wouldn’t let you pick out your own colors, glass, and they would reach over you to correct your art. There is no creative license and they control every step of the process. They degrade your art while simultaneously forcing you to change designs. The entire process was unpleasant, awkward and it ruined our day. He stood over us the entire time making comments and put his hand in our face if we tried to explain our thought process. If it was up to me I would have walked out without a second thought. This was hands down the most passive aggressive activity I have ever done. My entire family was just making eye contact with each other while trying to keep our mouths shut. It is certainly not worth the 70+ dollars per person for a decorative glass piece you probably won’t end up liking. The glass blowing shop down the block called Lincoln city glass center, was an incredible experience, staff was friendly, helpful, and let you do whatever you want in terms of design, only taking over for technical aspects. AVOID the Mor art studio. It is an absolute nightmare with ridiculous behavior from all the staff. A complete waste of time and money on an otherwise pleasant vacation. If I could give it a 0 star review I would. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place.

If you're visiting Lincoln City, this is a must-do! We always have a blast and have a cherished piece of art to take home.

Stopped by with my family on vacation. Not only did the man working not let us choose our own colors and glass, but he also ruined a piece because he didn’t like it, and was so disrespectful towards us that we had to leave the store. I understand he knows more about the process than us, but to completely disregard our creative mind and say no was unacceptable. We were also forced to pay more to do a background they made us do, otherwise the “pieces would break”. Mind you, This was after we had already paid for the entire experience and put the glass pieces down on the plate. We ended up having to pay 140 more. We will not be retuning.

Stopped by here today to check it out. Thought it was interesting until I overhead the two men working there openly mocking my girlfriend for trying to help describe the process when they themselves seemed at a loss for words. I get it, artists think they are generally better people than anyone else but that was incredibly rude. At least wait until we leave the shop. We live locally and will go to one of the many other glass options in town instead of these pompous jerks.
