8Normally I love the Moreland theater. My experience with the Taylor Swift concert movie was almost unbearable. I would have left had I not been there with my daughter. She really wanted to see the show. The way the staff let the crowd run wild screaming at each other racing up and down thr aisles. I have no problem with the Singing along with the music. I complained to the staff they did nothing. So many parents with wild children did nothing. Absolutely shameful.
It’s a really cool theater. Just wish they played more cult classics like some of the other independent theaters in Portland, especially older horror movies. If that was the case we’d be there every week for sure.
I absolutely love this neighborhood theater. We love coming here for regular movie screenings. I have also hosted an event and it was great - we had a great time. Tuesday is such a great help and we absolutely would have more events!
Greatest little neighborhood cinema around! First-run movies, arthouse films, animation, you name it! And, the $5 Tuesdays can't be beat! Can't wait until they restart the "dinner & a movie" setup from Limelight next door. That was awesome
This is an awesome theater with great prices. I love to bring my daughter here. My only gripe is the length of time they show the same movie. Like literally the same movie will be playing every day for weeks on end and there is only one screen here I get it but would it hurt to mix it up a bit? It's really a bummer when multiple new releases come out and this theater is only playing the same movie weeks on end. Why not alternate between a few big new releases and show them on an every other day schedule, or only show the same movie for like a week then switch?
I love coming here it’s just a 20 minute walk and then I feel transported into old Hollywood vintage movie. Prices are amazing
A neighborhood jem! Low prices, good cider and beer. New theater, reclining seats, great sound and almost never a line, my way to see a movie!
