MP Nail SPA, Beaverton OR

Please don't go there! I went in for a pedicure and was promptly seated. I took off my boots, leg braces, and socks (I have neuropathy and have to wear boots and braces to help me walk) and after a few minutes they informed me that they had another appointment. It is difficult and time consuming to put all of my stuff on and after doing so I was told it would only be 10 or 15 minutes and they would be done with their other appointment. They suggested I leave and get a coffee and come back soon. I was not going to go through all of the effort to come back to their place of business. I'm 70 and have only gotten a few pedicures before but my wife insisted I go and get one. I will never go back there again and after I discussed what happened she will not ever go there either. I ended up a few blocks away at Lena gel nails and had a wonderful experience with a nice lady Pha who even helped me put all of my things back on and even did my shoe laces which is difficult with my lack of feelings in my fingers due to my neuropathy. Staff was kind enough, not very interactive. Got manicures with my Mom before I went in for carpal tunnel surgery, hoping I wouldn't have to worry about hang nails, etc during recovery. Unfortunately, the work done was very disappointing. Polish all over my cuticles, inconsistent layers that are very obvious and, less than a week later, I already had a chip on one of my nails. With gel polish!
Considering all I did was sit in bed watching TV and resting after surgery, it's more than clear that it wasn't done well.
My mom got regular polish, but the layers were so inconsistent and poorly done that the polish was uneven on every. Single. Nail. Very disappointed.

Really hope this situation will get a major improvement. My first pedicure was great. The second not so great and the latest third time was very far from a charm. Cuticles and skin around my toes have snipped up little bits of skin all over, my heals hurt and are all rough and chewed up. The extra fee for the callous removal with the metal cheese grater tool is not worth it, my feet were smother before.

This is an update the manager Tim did return my call and fit me into his schedule when a cancellation came up. He expressed he wanted me to be happy with my pedicure and fixed it. He had to basically redo my pedicure. He did an excellent job and the difference was huge! I am very happy with his attention to detail and excellence in his skill level. Tim is talented and caring, I would highly recommend him. Book ahead of time he is busy. I am changing my stars to 4 and I would be giving Tim a five but the inconvenience of not having it done right in the first place was a pain.

This place is very nice and clean. They did a great job on my nails and I will be back!

Their gift certificates expire after 1 year, which isnt legal in Oregon. Fortunately, they honored mine which had just expired.

There are comments in regards to how the staff treats people, but I really think it is a cultural thing where they come across as l
"less than pleasant. " Obviously, I am not speaking for every situation, but most of the time it is nothing personal.

Hit and miss. Racist? Really odd lack of availability?

My white friend point blank thought they were probably racist. I like to get people the benefit of the doubt and it could be that they're just rude and they don't need to be racist for that. However looking at the other reviews it seems like there's a trend with them being disrespectful and not so nice to people of African descent.

I had a decent walk-in experience once getting exactly what I asked for at a decent price. So I then carefully made an appointment for a few weeks later with a friend over the phone. Said friend called and let them know that we were running about 15 minutes late and I showed up 10 minutes late. However, there was literally no one in the store besides 4 nail technicians because our appointment was for their opening time.

When I made my appointment I specified that I wanted design (although, not really because how hard is it to apply stickers?) and I was told that I would have to make my appointment on a certain date because there was supposedly only one person available to do designs. However, this wasn't quite true because the woman who initially did my nails was not there on my appointment day and she did them just fine.

They weren't mean to my white friend, who showed up even later than me, when she notified them about us being late but when I got there I was given a really hard time about being ten minutes late even though no one was there and then the technician told me that she doesn't do design anyway, even though I specified this in my call.

However, the other lady that was indicated as doing design studiously ignored me and I watched her as she called in another client who apparently had an appointment for the following day but she rescheduled her to come in about an hour and a half.

It really didn't make any sense because there was no one in the store, they actually had more than one person who could "do design, " and the person who was available to do design literally had to call in a client so she was completely free.

Frankly, my friend called them up because she suspected that they initially thought I was white over the phone and when I came in person, they didn't wish to provide me with service.

Our go to nail spa! They're very covid safe, and clean! They do amazing pedicures which is usually our go to. They treat my daughter like part of the family which makes her feel so special.

I can’t believe this hidden gem has been right by me for 3 years and I didn’t know. My first time in they are super clean follow all covid rules. Jenny did my nails exactly the shape I love, she was fast but without missing any detail. Definitely recommend

I know where this place is it's very lit up but other than that I don't know too much about this place never been there.

Lynn is the best for all the newest and cute nail designs! Great place very relaxing all other staff is nice and welcoming.

Recently started coming here. I live that you can book online. Never have to wait for my appointment slot. Very clean and nails are great and last.

I drive from Albany to have my toes done by Rosie. This was my second visit, my sister found the place when she lived in Beaverton.
It's so worth the commute! We decided at this visit that We Will be more frequent regulars from now on!

I haven't been here since before COVID, and this was my first nail appointment since everything opened back up. I'm glad to say that MP Nail Spa is still just as great as I remember! Very clean and professional.

Such a great place! The environment was quiet, calm and clean. All staff was friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I both did the pedi's that came with an amazing coconut scrub. I left feeling relaxed, with soft feet and an perfect paint job.

Nice salon. Took their time to make sure I was happy with my color and service. Very sanitary and clean.

I always enjoy my visits to MP Nails! They have many beautiful colors to choose from, the technicians are highly professional, and the salon is beautiful!

The lady that did my nails made me bleed and I didn’t even like them and she still asked for a tip. Never going here again
